  1. Did Sam just re-discover the moneybacker position? I haven't watched any Cards games this year because they suck ass, but the role Sam was describing for Simmons sounded exactly like a moneybacker. A role, of course, popularized by the Cards with Deone Bucannon like 7 years ago

  2. PFF needs to do a bare minimum before talking. Dexter Lawrence is designated as not injury related – rest on the giants injury list. Just an idiotic point being made for like half the giants colts segment

  3. I'm surprised this hasn't been an issue more often in the 4 team division era but at this point division winners need to stop getting guaranteed home playoff games. The fact that the Titans/Jaguars and Panthers/Bucs/Saints will get to host a game in the postseason (possibly two if they win in the wildcard round and everything else bounces right) is so stupid.

  4. For the DeShawn Watson coverage: There's a normal level of team reporters bias, then there's probably an extra level of pressure given the Cosby-esque situation. Then there is the question, did these reporters initially defend Watson? Because once someone gives support to the situation and then it becomes polarized, I imagine it would be psychologically difficult to back off the position of defending Watson. Imho, I don't believe there's going to be a lot of fair logical evaluation of Watson going forward.

  5. I've always wondered why you guys don't have more engagement. The problem is your media managers aren't doing a great job. I literally can not find your video from yesterday. Looked for it and can not find it. Good content. Good thumbnails. Doing a much better job with the chapters. You guys just struggle because your media managers are doing you a disservice by not 1 promoting this particular show more and 2 making your videos more organized and easy to find

  6. Can we get an audio engineer on this podcast to add a high pass filter? It's just basic sound treatment. I'm tired of hearing these bowel-moving sub bass drops everytime these guys kick the desk..

  7. re: “the Chargers have a chance to get the #5 seed..” and then bad maths. Y’all are making it sound like the Chargers are likely to be #7, and #5 is a long shot. No. Look, guys, it’s simple. If the Chargers end the season tied in W-L record with either the Ravens or the Bengals, they’re the #5 seed. They hold conference record tiebreakers over both AFC North teams. The Chargers don’t have to win out – they can go 1-1 and tie the Ravens, hence #5 seed. The Ravens don’t have to lose out – they can go 1-1 and if the Chargers beat both the Rams and Broncos, they’re the #5 seed.

Any Charger win clinches at least a #6 seed. Considering the remaining games that’s very unlikely, unless the Chargers decide to rest people. (Which they maybe should, but that’s off topic.)
