  1. Worst and destructive coaching??? WTF? He made mistakes but he also improved their record every year… drafted some great players (Crosby, Renfrow, Hobbs) … found and went to get Waller when nobody else wanted him! Jacobs was a good pick.. Abrams… is ok. Ruggs was looking like he was going to be great until a personal decision destroyed his career…. So it’s a mixed bag. The Raiders will be better with McDaniel… but to say Gruden was destructive is ignorant

  2. wow, who would have guessed? the smart guys understand that the Jimmy situation isn’t about Lance. Half of fantasy twitter thinks Trey’s going to get benched in week 4 lmao. Someone tried to tell me Jimmy Garoppolo was a better QB than Kirk Cousins

  3. I don’t blame the new regime for the leatherwood situation at all. They gave him every chance to compete for a spot (on arguable the worst line in fb). And not only was no one willing to trade for leatherwood but it’s also stated that the bears were the only team to put in a claim for him. The league clearly didn’t feel the same about the leatherwood situation as Eric did, regardless of the scarcity for o-line.

  4. I disagree with the Leatherwood convo. McDaniels is just following the Patriots way when it comes to throwing your weight around. He came in and didn't extend anyone. All the picks can't be a bust. Its all about showing everyone he's in charge

  5. Is George aware that the riskiest QB-replacement trade of the last 5 years – assessed by combining draft capital surrendered and how sure the commodity was to be acquired – was a trade done for the sole reason to replace Jimmy G?

He gets the implication that Leatherwood might be trash because of being traded, but his fandom prevents him from seeing that his own team has implied that 10x over about Jimmy G. They don’t believe him because he’s a bottom rung QB when it counts. Any team serious about actually winning would never care to acquire him.
