  2. If Kashmir policy was so good and working towards the solution during UPA regime – neither Mr Dulat touched upon the reason as to why Mr Padgoankar, Radha Kumar and another guy ( missing his name) were sent as interlocutor as representatives of Govt of India to talk to separatists, Hurriyat & terrorists sympathizers

  3. Lol this guy is impotent.. 😂 I knew right away when I saw our International Panuati interviewing him… how can you have a guy who says corrupting is better than killing? You are not dealing with a pharmacy owner 😅 you are dealing with Islamists… Doval and Modi are talking to them in the only language they understand.. ⚔️🧨

  4. The doctrine he is propounding didn't yield any results for 3 decades. Can't really appreciate his state of mind, which makes him think that it can still work. The only thing that comes out clearly in the talk is his sarcasm for the Doval Doctrine for Kashmir.

  5. Sajjad Lone is an old friend. I had a lovely 12 days with Charles. Seriously…. IFS or a spook? Keep your friends close and enemies closer …I get it, but I do wonder. Well I'll still read his book…but I'll borrow from the library.

  7. Many thanks 🙏🏼 to Barkha Dutt for conducting this interview. A conversation between two losers.

The problem with Dulat is his openness and making his political views known. He doesn’t know where to draw the line. For instance being interviewed by this discredited journalist does not bode well for his standing. Why deal with the bottom of the barrel when he could be interacting with the cream.

Dulat by his actions and opinions is a softee and totally inappropriate to be a “spook”.

Don’t know how he ascended to the top position? Seniority? Influence?

As a human voicing his pleasure in being interviewed by Dutt is laudable, it is this very nature was his failing as a spook. His praise for Duval really means, Duval is a success while he was less effective bordering on failure. Bharat 🇮🇳 is so fortunate to have Duval, Amit Shah and Modi. Bharat’s 🇮🇳 very own triumvirate.

He talks about his interactions with the separatists! Arm Chair diplomacy by a spook?! Sure you keep your enemies close, but through alternate channels. He was more suited as a Diplomat. He was a man of words instead of action. What were Is achievements? NATO – No Action Talk Only.

He promoted paying separatists. What an asinine idea! It is apeing the failed policy of the US. Look what happened to Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden? You can’t buy loyalty. The challenge is to ferret out their source of funding. A tough job and would require inter-departmental cooperation. Indira Gandhi created her own monster; Binderwale!. She did relent, overacted and the consequences were horrible. Trouble makers should be handled with a firm hand. Pushing separatism is sedition.

His thoughts about bringing a political solution to Kashmir is not the job of the Security apparatus. Right or wrong it has to be driven by politicians. The Abdulla and Mufti families apparently have been milking JK&L (L is always left out and good thing it has been separated).

One thing he mentioned is credible and that is the majority of the people on the ground want to live their lives peacefully and earn a decent living. The challenge to the Centre is to work with the UTs to make it happen.

Sending Pandits to J&K while tensions abound is putting the Cart before the Horse. The focus ought to be on Vikas, Law & Order. Also property grabbed from Pandits who fled the genocide need to be returned to them expediently. They may not choose to go back. They can then utilise, rent or sell their property.
