The past year has been an absolute roller coaster of releases when it comes to the Pokemon TCG. We went from a Pokemon Market that was struggling to fill any shelves with product, to a market that was overwhelmed by new releases and clearance items.
As we close the book on 2022, it seems Pokemon may have finally reached a happy medium when it comes to their release schedule. With the highly anticipated Crown Zenith set releasing in January of 2023, there are not too many ancillary products filling in gaps allowing the market to stabilize.

Where is the Pokemon Center restock section?!
Thought packs were getting updated to include three holos, and getting rid of the rare non holos so I don't think box pull rates are going to be an issue.

I'm hoping Pokemon just sells out and prints a ton of Crown Zenith and doesn't worry about reprinting any other Sword and Shield products before moving into S&V. Granted, I'd love to get a sealed case of ES booster boxes, but that would have to be a massive reprint to bring the price point down enough to make that feasible. Shoulda, woulda, coulda bought the case in December of 2021 but I didn't…. sad! I would prefer not to see that huge of a reprint if we get one.

2022 really is a year for realeaseses. I've found that the release time between sets decreased from one set every 12 or 13 weeks to one set every 10 weeks.
