I've played the demo a month or so after Splatty first featured it and both the giant spitter worms, as well as the z-levels were implemented by that time.
As a matter of fact, I've played the demo to exhaustion – literally. As in, there was no mineable terrain left after I was done with all 4 z-levels and the maze of traps I crafted nearly always took out the entire invading enemy horde before they reached my defenders.
It took me two-three days to exhaust the map, but I became very familiar with the game as a result and I must say, while I like the individual features implemented, the game still seems a long ways off from completion. Foremost, I NEED this game to have more than a 2x speed button (same issue I have with Battle Brothers, but that game has mods that add it), as well as some more lighting options, if they insist on keeping it as dark as it currently is.
I'll probably download the demo regardless and see if they implemented the research system yet (it used to be a building with no function), as well as any new traps. Oh, and if they fixed the various types of traps with in-built walls at their back to create a proper congruous wall with one another, instead of allowing tiny units through and thus forcing the player to keep some natural rock walls around even at endgame, since there was no 'build wall' option available.
Liked what I've seen. And put the game on my wishlist. Thanks for the videos!

Oh good, they brought a cave troll… >.>
Rock and stone!
before when the king was in the front lines, that seemed to have been an unnecessary risk
Strike the earth! The fire fills the field, the bodies feed the flames…
I get that getting the heart adds another dimension to what is otherwise a simple defense game, but how is that supposed to help the dwarves in the lore? Does the heart somehow help them defend? Is it like getting the grail in heroes of might and magic?
Am i mistaken or was there no mention of Dwarf Fortress?
22:30 "they were sacrificial from the beginning"… what happened to "leave no dwarf behind"? 😰
Is SplatterCatGaming applying to management? 🤔
Dwarven Keeper.
Did someone said dwarfs!!?
I die inside every time i have to take out a loot bug
👍🏻
Gonna check it out. Thanks again mane.
its an rts too, the more moving units the more it eats your fps ,
I like this game !
Hope this doesn't turn into another HammerTing
I was playing Deep Rock Galactic and I heard you say Rock and Stone 😀
I think this game looks interesting, I dont like how dark it is though. I feel like those light posts are barely doing anything. I would hope its a little better in person or on pc monitor.
I played the demo last night and youll be happy to know you can rightclick a qued block to make it turn blue and be priority mined
man they changed this game lots
Admission of your own mistakes is why I’m turning to you since totalbiset pass away, carrying on sir your doing a perfect job in my humble opinion
14:50 i like the way you think

I played this back when the first time you showcase it and had a lot of fun with it. Time for part 2 of the demo.
