I think Space X will get to Mars within the next few years but as for colonisation, you probably realistically looking about 20 years after that, bio domes will have to be built, personally i would just build bio domes on the moon, it's much closer to Earth, rich in rare earth minerals worth hundreds of trillions of dollars, if you can harvest these & bring them back to Earth you'll solve alot of financial issues back home. I would just set up colonies on the Moon, build a space port ready for the next phase in deep space travel, current rocket technology relies on fossil fuels, crap. Concentrate on Ion drives, or mini nuclear reactors to power any future star ships 🚀
Best line "which would be cool to see" big boom fun, but, big boom bad. No big boom 👍👍👍
You said that wrong that was not an explosion that was a very rapid unscheduled disassembly
Several decades ago when an emptied tanker vessel the sanzania import near San Pedro California exploded due to improper underwater welding procedures, the blast blew out windows up to 5 Mi away in Palos Verdes California it shook windows in my home in Costa Mesa California and was heard noticeably in La Jolla California just North of San Diego approximately a hundred miles away. Now this was an empty vessel that was simply filled with vapor hydrocarbon vapor.
10 Kt. That’s not much less than a Little Boy. That would level everything off in the vicinity…
Really hate the neg-Beast title! It makes me want to unsubscribe!
To make a rocket hover you need a thrust to weight ratio of 1 over 1 1/1
Well not trying doesn’t get you anywhere. You have to take risks to succeed.
Attempting a chopstick catch on the very first launch will not happen. Too many risks. They could run the same program on the booster to simulate it being caught but land it in the ocean, and if that goes well then try chopsticks for the next one maybe.
I like this channel but that title is unnecessary and unprofessional.
So are we to be blamed for the heating of the planet or those suckers of the space race???
Oh shoot I hope that does not happen
Why are you trying to jinx starship and keep saying 🤔 it would be cool to see it blow up. Lots of hard work went into it. Don't wisnfor things to go wrong man!!
Question,,,if the Russians are so backward in their space technology? Then why do we rely on the Russians to boost the space station orbit??? Propagandists can't get their stories straight…lol…
What a fucking stupid lazy sloth ridden mindless title .. so stupid.
why the clickbaity title? you don't need that
Chop stick must have the rolling pin thing or wheel thing on the inner arm, to reduce friction
Maybe chopstix can also use a top surface elevated a few inches by many springs from another stable surface, so as to soften the landing.
Dude I'm never going to watch anything from you. That's click-baiting at its best. A title that has nothing to do with the video or maybe exaggerated…
If I was Elon Musk I would be a bit worried about putting my money in to rockets . I say this because obviously some EARTHLY entity has some sort of new propulsion technology or maybe rocket technology that is obviously far more advanced than ANYTHING the world public know about. Look at the weird stuff being filmed (then being blanked out) near the ISS and all the UAP activity near US naval flotillas that air craft have filmed (ie. Tic Tac ufo) . What would happen if this all become public knowledge. It can NOT be aliens unless they are interdimensional ones . I say this because if they come from this universe they have to be using the same physics we use for space travel. With this in mind Astronomers EVERYWHERE would see aliens coming from light years away. Even small ones with radio and our gravitational wave astronomy . So Mr Musk make sure you find out who have these amazing craft and how they work because they can probably go to Mars right now if they wanted to take that risk or if there is anything in all of these UFO sightings a lot of people are talking about because it aint Aliens.
The same YouTubers who constantly bash NASA for delaying their launches in an effort to make every launch perfect, are the same YouTubers who praise SpaceX for blowing stuff up and break things on a semi-regular basis
could a spacex starship use fusion energy to power it's engines?
Remember the Soviet N-1 rocket and repent ! Elon got lucky with the F9… and got addicted to gambling activities. Whishful thinking… The end is near. Just look what happened to Starship during the landing tests. The landing procedure is not validated yet !
Duh, the rocket is extremely close to the fuel and oxidizer storage, it has no deflector or flame trench, extremely minimal water deluge. Worst case scenario is the rocket lifts off the tower, explodes in mid-air above the fuel and oxidizer tanks, and all of the above explode together. If that happens… I just pray everyone in the area is miles away for that event.
I just wish they'd built the launch tower another 200' taller got the shock wave further away from the hard concrete (reflector) and added a pyramid shaped, water deluge system, and located the fuel and oxidizer tanks further away. I get that the water table is basically at ground level st Boca Chica, that just means you have to build up not below ground level.
Disaster odds increase when not using more care, not by pushing capabilities.
WHY does this channel have only 77K subscribers? Great channel. 🤙
I agree! My thought is who in their right mind would sit on top of this rocket to flyninto space. 100 people? Are willing to roll the dice on a safe launch? We really need to focus on a new method to get into space that does not involve posd ible cremation.
Me: Hey, ever heard of suppressed anti gravity technology. Most of all SpaceX rocket enthusiasts: Nope
The difference here is that both propellant components are cryogenic. This means it would be more of a fireball than an explosion.
I think they will attempt to land with chopsticks. Space flight is all about risk versus reward. Unmanned flight will definitely use chopsticks to catch as long as the starship/superheavy will be able to accomplish everything it set out to first with no issues, I think the only way to find out if it works is to try it. If they do a water landing they will not be able to reuse the rocket so quickly or at all if it gets destroyed. Plus they are on a deadline that is vastly shortening.
this guy said the SLS launched perfectly
The launch pad and recovery pad should be at two different locations.
The N1 didn't burn all its fuel, so that's B-S! The largest non-nuclear explosion comes from the GBU-43/B MOAB, I think you'll find?. The N1 could of been, but wasn't, as the PPM was more than could combust… fire triangle – too much propellant or oxidizer = Minimum Boom Boom!!
Launching and landing these rockets is not for the "faint of heart".
Shut this one down, hand it to NASA.
Why does Google hide your channel?
There was an explosion that was more than 700 Kt in Iran a few years back. Or am I wrong? Also one in the Arizona desert that was as big It covered a lot of land. It has to be close to 700Kt.
Appreciate the voice and no robot text to speech
back to base will do nicely thank you.
have a little faith
I wish we would just send a rockets to build a big ship up there so we can travel solar system. Maybe even a huge space station with ships that dock to the space station. And find a cleaner way to get to outer space off Earth
Excellent content, I liked learning about some of the history.
Largest non-nuclear?!? Oh my sweet summer child. Minor Scale, Halifax, Texas City, all bigger any way you care to measure. Those are just off the top of my head. You'll say anything for clicks, won't you?
Title says, then video is full of maybes. Downvote for blatant sensationalism. You're not delivering news, you're making up sizzle to pull views to make money.
I don’t think the chopstick catch will work
