  3. It's Trey Lance with Purdy backing him up, if Purdy looks like Jimmy did in 2019 (mostly carried by defense and a great run game, making a few key passes here and there when needed).
    If Purdy isn't just along for the ride, but actually looks like he did against Tampa, he'll get the job.
    Either way, if Trey doesn't look great after a few games, there will be a lot of pressure to give it to Purdy.

    Jimmy won't be back. It was an option before he got hurt, but now that we saw what Purdy can do, if Lance is the starter there's no reason to spend all that money on Jimmy, and if you have to choose between Purdy and Jimmy, there's no reason to go with Jimmy (especially with what he will cost).

    Seattle will sign Geno. They found something that works. It only stopped working when they lost their RBs and the PA game died. Geno isn't the problem there. They could go after Jimmy G, but will he be better for them than Geno? He won't be cheaper.

    Bosa asked Santa to make Baker the starter for the Rams next season. If the NFL schedules their first division game in the middle of the season, Baker will have a great start until he gets destroyed by Bosa and the 49ers defense, and then he'll go bad for a while just like Tua right now
