I just quit playing this game and deleted it from my PS5. This is the WORST "no-control" POS game I've ever wasted money on. I don't know about PC or XBox, but the PS5 version of this game is even worse than Mordor Shadow of War. I just got the spear and the game controls have gotten much worse as the bad guys get harder. L1 doesn't bring up my shield, you can't parry, and my weapons keep getting changed or PUT AWAY during combat. You're stabbing a bad guy and then realize the spear is GONE and you're just using your fists. Brand new PS5 with brand new wireless controllers and I got sick and tired of control inputs being ignored or flat out not working. It's one thing to suck at a game, it's another to know what's coming and mash the controls to react only to watch the character do NOTHING, and then have the game make fun of you for "not using the shield". I've also used Spartan Rage and watch it do ZERO damage to the boss, then Kratos gets killed when the rage runs out and the opponent gets off ONE hit because my shield button won't work. You can't spend millions of dollars developing a game and then have control issues like this that make the player miserable. I wasted $90 bucks pre-ordering this POS and just deleted it off my console. Not even 30% into the game and I'm not putting up with it anymore. Going back to Ghost of Tsushima New Game+ on LETHAL where the controls actually function properly.
