LUCASFILM DON'T LET ME DOWN ON THIS! – BIG ACOLYTE NEWS

So…Acolyte is confirmed to take place less than 100 years before The Phantom Menace…I have a Star Wars Theory on who we could see during this time. Plagueis and Tenebrous are the most powerful Sith during this time, and since the show is focusing on the Sith rising to power by the time the Republic arrives, it would be needed to see these two as they are the most prominent Sith.

Thank you for watching today’s video. I hope you have a great day, and I’ll see you in the next one! May the force be with you, ALWAYS!

  1. Were all friends here… so imma say it. A lot of people really disliked the kenobi show. Inthought it was 2nd only to clone wars. It definitely had its issues. The latter half of ep 4 wasnt the best. But overal i absolutely loved it

  2. For me – the star wars saga was always about Sith and Jedi, as seen through the Skywalker family. Andor dropped the ball. This should be awesome, and we finally get to see the High Republic!

  3. Dude George isn't some super genius. He had a lot of help. He's a super nerd. His writing sucked balls. Enpire and Jedi were other people's creation. Lucas gave us star wars so yea be forever grateful but he had no plan. He just had a great team in the OT. Look what happened when he didn't have help: I hate sand hahaha.

I don't think llucas cares about anything you want. It's just woke woke woke

  4. Plagueis is an incredible novel. One of, if not the best EU title. Doesn’t break current canon, and actually explains how Palpatine could be alive in RoS. They should just recanonise it as is.

  5. A Darth Plagueis show would do so well with the same tone, production quality, style of music and cinematic quality of Andor. If they do involve elements from the book in Acolyte, I just hope it doesn't down play it.

  6. So Palpatine was not all the sith

He was only all those sith that chose to essence transfer with the rule of two inheritance of all those consciousnesses

A show that dives into living with multiple inherited sith personalities would be crazy

  7. Disney is a woke cesspool. They have already turned Star Wars into a woke cesspool.
That story of the sister who takes revenge against the Jedi for not protecting her people, breaking their Oath, is another "let's create another Rey Palpatine Skywalker Mary Sue" and further show these toxic Males how it's done. Although her brother would be the ideal candidate, they will find a way for her to be a Broly-esk legendary force user even more powerful and special than her brother. She will also be better than everyone, even at their specialty.
I bet the Jedi she goes up against would be all Males.

  8. I bet they ruin it. Men generally write better star wars…because most star wars fans are men. not calling it a bust, but my hopes for it are grim already.
Wish Kennedy would leave and give Filoni and Favreau the keys to everything

  10. I'm not getting my hopes up at all. This is supposed to be happening during "the High Republic," something Disney prioritized "wokeness and diversity" over proper story telling. And the fact the show is supposed to be female centric and reflect the showrunner's own queer identity is a huge red flag that once again, they will take something fans have wanted and instead make it absolute trash.
What we're probably going to get is the main character being ridiculously overpowered but "chained down by her weak white male for a master," criticizing everything done by the Sith (saying how she could have done it better because she's the bestest ever) and practically announces herself to the public every second of every day, despite the Sith supposed to be in hiding, and uses emotion such as love (particularly for this random alien species who happens to be the same gender as her) rather than more powerful emotions that the Sith use such as fear, anger and hate.

  11. I would be excited if I hadn't seen Rebels, the Sequel trilogy, the middle four episodes of Clone Wars Season 7, Book of Boba Fett, Kenobi, or Andor. Disney destroys everything it touches. They will inevitably fuck up any slam dunk idea. The fact that they hired someone who doesn't like Star Wars to direct Acolyte proves Lucasfilm doesn't care. Of course I would LOVE to be wrong this time.

  12. I would wish for the whole Plagueis/ Tenebrous Story as well…but as far as i understand it we probably won't see too much of it…The show is female led and built around the sith…so i guess they will once again retcon something here because if it plays 100 Years before PTM the only Sith alive should be exactly Tenebrous and Plagueis…introducing a female sith during that timeline would mean that they either retcon one of those characters or they blow the rule of two into the wind… ( or i just understood it wrong so far :D)

  13. Plagueis opens with the death of Tenebrous, 67yrs BBY. At that point, Plagueis had been apprenticed to Tenebrous for as long as an average human lives. This show should give us a look at 65 years of Pagueis training.

    * I think you may have your wires crossed on Tenebrous' death scene in the novel. His body is wrecked after the collapse of the cave. There wasn't a passage about him leaving his body. Plagueis snaps his neck and does have his guard up in case Tenebrous did try something like that but he didn't.
