Thank you for your service sir! My son was USMC stationed at New River NC. He is also a vet now. He rebuilt the power plants on the CH53 helos.
That red truck is one of the prettiest trucks out here today. Wow
👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Faster to swap moters than doing the heads.. Pulling and rebuild what came out…
more frequent oil changes could/would help motor life. And operators, letting motor warm up before running as you know… Great videos, always enjoy watching
That "Just a Phase" red truck is simply beautiful! Love seeing the custom rigs, thanks for bringing us along on the trip!
DO NOT REPLY TO THE FAKE GENTRY ACCOUNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have y’all ever re torqued the heads at like 200,000
All duramax engines are just nightmares. Nothing easy to do except sell them.

Awesome video I would’ve love to be sitting in that room talking and listening to the stories you all told and getting to take a first hand look of the work and how trucking used to be
🎉good job guys 🎉
My kind of people Tim.
Great video. Luv the content
was that a longnose international? Did not see too many of them but miss the old internationals- from my scout and travelalls from the late 60s to the 78 cabover I drove in 83
Great video very cool guys.
Put 3 inch body lifts on them makes a WORLD of a difference
So your brother can make those trucks get down the road?? Make them FLY?? LOL
Dura-Max is a wana be Diesel compared to the Commins, Power-Stroke, the Dura Max Diesel I've seen couldn't pull the hat off your head! from Chuck
That ole boy there is a large car designing guru at the least. Very good fabricator and builder
Thats a old school cab card aint it
If that man is looking for a cab for that truck i bet twin stick can find one or knows where one is already
Them old b models were awesome motors. You could get one from what 350 up to 450 from the factory on horsepower right
I fell in love with trucking at about 1976. My first ever truck ride was a 1969 dodge diesel 2 stroke detroit road ranger 13 speed hauling grain. I will never forget that right. My second ride was in a 1978 mack conventional pulling a old 20 dump trailer. It was slow as heck . I think top speed was like 56 mph
Deleting will help, but a tune will help also
The most common causes of duramax head gasket failure are overheating and not replacing the coolant with proper gm approved coolant. Whenever I replace a duramax water pump, I tig weld the gear to the shaft to prevent slippage, which is common on aftermarket replacement water pumps. I always recommend replacing the radiator with a high quality name brand aluminum radiator.
I like the fords too.
But I've heard they don't get good milage, especially from 2008.
The Ram has the 6 cylinder the Ford has 8 so
I'd either buy another Ram or even a Ford with the Cummins in it.
I e had both I love the Cummins.
But I'm a Ford guy too.
I have a 1987 Ford F-250 with the 6!9 liter international engine.
Probably has 400 thousand miles on it.
But everything is original just replaced the hoses sealed from the factory in June starter in May and water pump and brake buster and that's about it.
Hey Tim putting doors in that sleeper is going to be stupid buddy.
