Another Great Pinball repair series Ron, keep them comming.
Old World craftsmanship!
You gotta put more body english on the flippers….also a little swearing helps, together with a bit of jolting the machine and occasional slap of the glass : -)
Mission accomplished great series Ron two thumbs up . Now waiting for the next πππ
No pop for the replay or match?
I remember playing this game as a kid.
Super fun game, fast and entertaining for the day. Soo many issues expertly fixed. I almost thought there was too much for you to get thru. Did you end up fixing the plumb bob tilt? I don't recall seeing that on on the vids. BTW I think you had your best save yet around 33:00! Keep up the great work – You da man!
YAY!
Once again, "still works" is a funny way to spell "finally works again thanks to us". π
Have you done the Night Rider machine yet?
Seems the rails leading down to the flippers need a bit of an adjustment, since the ball kinda bounces, especially on the left. Anyway, it's looking great and playing great. The playfield is a bit dark though, so maybe a slight modification with some extra bulbs would improve the experience. Great job.
Welcome back from the dead new world π
Great series of videos on this pin, if only I could have it home! Lucky your customer
Got-lee-ebb π
Great series, thanks Ron
A new world has arisen! Thanks, Ron, great Job.
As always great channel π
Great job Ron, When you start the game up it sounds like the beginning of the tv show Miami Vice. I liked how you mentioned the bumper and flipper strength they do like very strong. Thanks Ron
You absolutely killed it! Great job. Will we see that wide body Flight 2000 in a series?
New world looks great. Nice job at getting all fixed up and working.
Is the the biggest, most time in it, machine that you've restored? Your patience to do all of the little things that matter is amazing.
Great job. I've watched all of them. This thing is built pretty well and the chimes sound great. Do you have outtake reels? Because you definitely have more patience than I do. I seem to get tourette syndrome when I play lol.
Thanks again for the video π Gameplay looks fun! π
Two dummy reels ….why not 3 or 4…..the vanity of it….
Some thing you are well placed to answer. How much do the same game vary to play? Would the makers/operators try to keep them comparable?
The cabinet is made from aglomerado, essentially high density chipboard/particle board.
Quite happy to see a Spanish game. And how hard was this to fix!
Awesome machine! Wouldn't mind having it in my living room π maybe one day!
You said it was for a customer, what did the bill end up being?
That is a really good looking game. A lot going on for an EM too. Great job getting it working so well.
I predicted before you started playing that you wouldn't be able to beat the scores from the 3rd video or whatever it was, where the 1000 was constantly scoring for all 4 players.
It's such a high scoring game, that you defied my predictions, hehe
Might have to do a video on fixing the auto focus on your camera…. youβve been battling it for a while now. Hmmm but how would you record it?!?!?
Can't wait to see what you end up doing with that Flight 2000
I can't remember but how did the EM think of the random number for number to match?
Was it random or it was a set number.
This customer should be very pleased with the refurbished fully functioning finished product here. Ron is a regular pinball Guru! This Playmatic is a real beauty survivor. The companies in the USA could really learn something from the long lasting durable paint job on the playfield, the back glass has also held up really well they did not cut corners in this area and it really shows Ron got a nice break from his usual paint job touch up nightmare.
After a very frustrating travel day today (delayed flight, dead car battery in long-term parking), it literally made my day to finally get home and see that this video was uploaded! Gonna grab a beer, decompress, and enjoy.
π
Nice one Ron, well done, looks and plays great. I was led to belive that the playfields lasted longer on the Spanish/Italian models due to the paint containing more lead making it more hard wearing compared to the Amreican games?
