TemTem supremacy reigns supreme
SUPREME!!!
This was posted earlier by the Devs:
We're aware of the current Showdown squad problems with duplicated or missing Tems and wrong techniques. Unfortunately, after fixing some issues yesterday, these new issues are client-related so we can't fix them on the fly and need a new patch, which takes longer.
In the meantime, you can avoid the issues by not dismissing any Tems in your squads (swap them instead). Choosing the dismiss option is what causes the duplication and disappearing issues.
If you currently have a broken squad, reconnecting to the game will fix the issue.
Thanks 😊
So a couple of random comments (I know this vid was just to show off the system, but I feel the need to say stuff anyway for engagement and stuff)
1. So many crystal spike tems like Valash and Xenoreth get a move called Madness Buff, which drastically buffs special attack and special defense at the cost of health. Their coverage options are very limited to balance the fact that they have a very spammable stab move in crystal spikes and an extremely strong buff move.
2. Fiery Soul is honestly just not great on slow tems, as it only inflicts 1 turn of burn. Burn is actually really strong because it reduces all damage from the afflicted Tem, not just physical damage like Pokemon. This makes fast fire tems like Aohi and Tulcan deceptively bulky.
But yeah, some comp matches would be pretty cool. You may want to give it a day or two to iron out some of the bugs and rough edges (devs had already acknowledged that SVs should default to 50), but it'd be fun to see what you come up with.
Lastly as a more general note: Double battles are inherently difficult. You have waaay more options per turn than you do in singles, and that makes finding the correct play or identifying viable options on any given turn very difficult. Don't get discouraged if you don't find immediate success. It took me awhile before I could even put together a team good enough for gym refights, let alone anything resembling ladder success.
The items are probably separate because that's how it works for regular competitive squads – you select your competitive Temtem from your boxes and then assign items to them separately, without having to put your actual items on them in your boxes.
I won't lie I don't like Showdown, it defeats the whole purpose of making your own team for PvP which for an MMO I thought is part of the whole idea. But with that I understand why they did this for the more casual players with "not enough time", but also with that I know the regular/hardcore players aren't gonna use their own team cause why would they? The point of an MMO is that it's supposed to be a drawn-out experience for it to last longer but with this day and age everyone wants everything easily and right away instead of working for it. I haven't dabbled in PvP yet as I'm still playing the story and breeding better Tems for Ranked. I'll probably be one of the only players to use their own Tems cause I take pride in my work but to each their own. Like I said I understand why they did this I just don't like it, it's my opinion but I'm very happy the Devs are at least continuing to try and improve their game! So overall update is awesome I just don't like Showdowns. 🤷🏽♂😐😁 TemTem is here to stay!
People aren’t happy with the camera because it’s disoriented. The only reason why they added it is because of gen 8 of Pokémon
