Hey guys, I have for a long time, like many of you assumed that specing 100 focus would help me while salvaging, well some recent things may have changed my mind!! Here are My results!
Thought it was only relative to salvaging fish.
ugg i have been swapping points for a year to salvage and never bothered to test this. At least I do not have to swap to focus again lol.
Thank you for your test. You will save me time from swapping to focus gear after every dungeon run or batch craft.
On salvaged scraps, is there anything we can do to improve the drop rate of those? What is the minimum gear score? Does the quality make a difference (purple gear drop scraps more often?)

With this topic, it makes us think that they should rework this "repair parts" system, its so useless. making the 100 focus perk useless.
Wow another thing in the game that just doesn't seem to work as expected. I think I'll come back after another year. Maybe the game will be good then.
Well now I know I have been wasting in game gold while spacing focus for salvaging. I never thought to test it. So many of us just assumed it was right.

Considering that Focus is for fishing you should test this with salvaging fish. I bet it works there.

this feels like a legacy ability from when the game was more of a survival game and getting more repair parts would make sense. the bonus should definitely be given to other material, even if it's only a small % boost, it would make sense since it's "focus" and if you're more focused you should be able to get more yield whenever you salvage or just make it fishing specific since focus is the fishing stat.
