You said not to select XP bonus, unless you're in everfall. Why is it ok to use XP bonus here, but not other places?
Was first on virgolf and now it's 1k q. A trillion dollar company that had 10k server limit down to 2 limit completely unacceptable

The first one, where you land on different starting locations can be easily solved. Finish only thr first quest that gives you pants. DO NOT TAKE THE NEXT QUEST. Look at the map and it shows em yellow doohickeys on each starting location. Then just run by the shoreline to the one where you all want to start. When you bump at the level 10+ mobs just run by and do the dodge/roll thing and you can outrun em. Did this myself yesterday when I started on the "wrong" starting ground. Took like 5 minutes to run to the neighbouring starting ground. 😊
The game?
Avoid new world altogether.
I'd say early on, 2 or maybe 3 points in xp gain is good enough. You're still getting 5% xp for everything you do and still have points for storage and everything else. 20-90 xp per plant adds up in the low levels. I gather and craft a fair bit though, so it probably won't be as useful to you if you're just trying to blitz through the zones and lvl up fast.
If you've already done a lot of stuff in the zone though, I'd avoid xp gain since you'll be moving on anyway.
I was definitely spending too much time gathering with the flint tools lol
I feel like my game is lagging, it dropping down on like 42 frames and such, and I even took the graphics down. The graphics don't even look as good as yours? I do have a rtx 2080, 32gb ram, and other such great stuff, but I really feel like the game lagging?

The biggest trap is burning your entire guilds gold on a early settlement. It does not matter if you buy an 100K settlement. A good team of pvp players will simply steal your keep the moment they turn level 60.
A lot of players [like me] are for honour players and will eat you on a silver platter. Giving you free advise. Do not buy the keep. It will be taken. Save that gold for all the 30-40 upgrades you can afford the moment you hit pvp.
