  1. Hey Sanjay, how’s youre week been? Getting ready for the holidays?

The augmented series by arturia weirdly reminds me of Kontakt Play with the simplicity (few knobs for control) but still getting epic sounds…

Digitalis is really cool, super unique and creates some awesome sounds. How CPU intensive is it?

    Yes crystalline is really nice!!
Heres a little reverb hack for you guys, i use it for vocals but you can do it for anything.
🔴Duplicate the track so you have an A and B version. B is going to be 100% wet reverb without any predelay and around 3 seconds duration works nicely (do experiment though) and sidechain this via a compressor to the original track (A) now experiment with attack and release but fairly slow settings are better imo. Add a bandpass EQ too to tidy the reverb.
What this does is when A plays B is ducked out the way but fills the blank spaces of A. It’s a really easy way of doing reverb without needing automation but keeping a clean sound.

PlayBox is awesome, i think NI software is always super unique and is never something youd expect whilst still feeling like NI… if that makes any sense.

I dont own sublab but it does look really good. Not really got much i can add honestly!

Spitfire never cease to amaze. LABS is so nice and the paid plugins are AMAZING! Christian Henson has plenty of videos if anyone is interested.

Fluid chords is such a game changer! Can not be replicated in the DAW and that’s what’s soo good about it

I personally am not a huge fan of instant mastering plugins. For a rough version they’re great but its hard to improve if you dont really understand what’s going on and ultimately mastering the final version yourself allows your track to SOUND like YOUR track… if you have a common process it will quickly discover itself and that’s something really fun about music production:)

    ❤❤❤

  2. Thanks for telling us your favorite Plugins of 2022. and I‘ve got some of them, like Crystalline, Ozone Advanced (only version 9) and Spitfire. And most of them are very interesting, except one that I don’t like the look of …. For the rest: 👍🏻👏🏻💪🏻🙏🏻

  3. Great roundup Sanjay, debating getting Crystalline and Digitalis before the sales end. Thanks for including a guitar plugin too. My personal favourite this year has been Neural DSP’s Archetype Rabea – amazing amps, FX and best of all – the synth!
