Nearly every musician I've seen do a reaction to this video has had that little uncontrollable energy-laugh when Steve does the little run with the shrieks before he joins the band and they all jam-out.
Everyone get's impressed by their musical talents, but only the musicians/composers/etc seem to be feeling it so much that they get that little tickle/giggle and they can't keep it in.
Good stuff.

I tried to like this jam; I really did. Even the Vai part. I even listened to it all a few times to make sure.

I know there's an immense amount of talent in this composition and in this band. A lot of funky rhythm playing, but zero soul, feel, or emotion. I can only imagine what a riot a live show must be though. The band plays emotionlessly as the crowd does quantum math and string theory.
This is what you get when you take the coke and heroin away and give SSRI's out like candy.
I already suffered through the soul-less synthesized and arpeggiated 80's once, and I'm not about to do it again…especially when the artist isn't completely strung out on the good shit.

Tbh this is the reason why I started teaching myself back in the day. My teachers could barely halfway play the music I wanted to learn and tried to teach me scales I already knew instead 😆🤷🏽♂️ notice how he instantly hops into Vais part w no hesitation lol

Polyphia is a super group …. All these guys bring a sound and ability that defines their tone…. We may never see another band with such pure talent
