Adam, the Loihi underwater volcano erupted just before Mauna Loa.
That's nearer to the Hilina slump that could swamp parts of California with a tidal wave.

The public needs access to live feed of Mauna Loa and Kilauea, which is not available.
With the anount of money going into US volcanic research, it's unconsciinable that Bali and the Canary Island, for example, have 24 hr live video feed, but the Big Island of Hawaii does not.
Too bad it couldn't reach Washington DC
