  1. We know that Kenpachi Zaraki becomes monstrously powerful in TYBW…but was he given the best chances to show it off? Let's take a look at the journey he underwent, both to take that title of Kenpachi, and to gain the power worthy of wielding it!

  2. How I always understood the Royd Lloyd Loyd Lloyd thing, was their copy ability works in term what they can read on the surface , so since Royd can understand or was allowed to understand Yhwach better than Loyd Lloyd was at understanding Zaraki in term reiatsu, so Royd had much more strength as Yhwach.

  3. I think that the first time I saw Zaraki was the first character I was truly scared of killing the protagonist, when a character just gives you the first strike opportunity with a bare open chest you know you are fucked.

  4. Kenpachi is just such monster. From when we first saw him to now. I loved how we always wanted to fight Ichigo, because even though Kenpachi may have been holding back, he knew that Ichigo would continue to get stronger. I think the fight with Gremmy was done, to take Kenpachi out of the kind of fights he was used to. And with Gerad, it was just to showcase him fighting someone so powerful. He is obviously one of my favorite characters just because of his attitude, and disregard for the fact that he might lose.

  5. Just thinking out loud. What if Royd is who Askin replaced in the Schutzstaffel? Yamamoto made quick work of him, and even Yhwach claims only he is strong enough to take Yama's bankai. Meaning the other Schutzstaffel would have been killed too. Royd couldn't even activate Vollständig he was so overwhelmed. Yhwach probably believed the likes of Lille and Gerard would have been killed by Yama, so using Royd was the best tactical choice. In fact Yhwach didn't bring Lille, Pernida or Gerard in the first invasion possibly to avoid fast losses to Yama's bankai. Only Royd to play a ruse, and soften Yamamoto.

  6. Great video btw
I just find it weird how you transition to face-cam for like 0.5 secs before showing a new pannel so much…
Doing it a little isn't a problem, but it happened so frequent that I started noticing how distracting it was.
I would probably extend the time between pannels some more from time to time, as it's also nice to see you talk. But it's just that; it's nice to SEE you, not just get a glipse of you EVERY time 🙂

    Keep it up man!

  7. You down play the meteor feat yet it is still an incredible first taste of what Kenny’s Shikai is capable of. Remember this meteor was massive enough to crush all of soul society and yet Kenpachi pulverized it with one swing. Also speaking about his bankai, the form we see is most likely not a complete form due to the fact it takes a minimum of 10 years to master bankai.

  8. At the end, he was no longer Kenpachi Zaraki. He was simply THE Kenpachi, which according to Hanataro, is a name that means no matter what happens, no matter how many times you cut him, HE WILL NOT FALL. It's a shame that Kubo forgot that line and didn't showcase it well enough in the last arc.

  9. Zaraki probably NEVER reached his full potential after his first encounter with Unohana.
    Hear me out!
Way back when he was fighting Unohana he was stronger, we dont know by how much, I'd say with a large margin. When their fight culminated in the present day, zaraki unlocked ENOUGH power to defeat Unohana, but his growth stoped again at that moment. We just dont know how much of it is still sealed away.
Yeah, yeah he unlocked his zanpakto and that maybe(?) means he is no longer holding back? Eh.

  10. When I think about Zaraki I feel the same vibe as for Vegeta. Both are crazy powerful characters that could easily replace the protagonist himself (not only because of their power, but mainly due to their character), but manga authors just … keep them under the glass ceiling.

  11. That meteor was around 100 miles in diameter. A meteor that big would probably destroy the earth and he destroyed it into pieces with 1 swing in shikai and his eyepatch on. That’s insane.

  12. Also Zaraki has no hax so he has trouble against characters with crazy hax, which is what all the high tier quincies and Yhwach have. Same with Ichigo but at least Ichigo has long ranged attacks.

  13. I have seen many times comments that he is overrated when it comes to power.
He toyed with two other captains without even having a shikai, Bodied two espadas, I believe somewhere is mentioned that Aizen specifically organized the entire situation to make sure that he is not present in fake Karakura. Gotei 13 banned any attempt of trying to get him to get stronger as they feared that he would become unstoppable. These means that they were worried that if he reaches full potential all other captains combined (which includes captain compander) might not be enough. All captains were fighting Sternriters 1 on 1…and loosing. He erased 3 of them like it was nothing…and he probably could have taken out any of those others that bogged down captains if he went against them. and that is all before unlocking his power.

  14. Just a thought but if being The Kenpachi means being the strongest in your era, does that mean both Unohana and Zaraki were stronger than Yamamoto? If not wouldn’t that mean Yamamoto was the actual true Kenpachi? Just something that always bugged me
