  1. I will argue many things about Dragon Ball. Super being good (outside of the movie recap arcs and the Future Trunks Saga ending), Heroes being an ok game, Dokkan being complete dog shit, etc. Power levels being bullshit is not one of them. They ARE bullshit.

  3. In FFXIV named my character Krillin Sanchez. When Weeping City of Mhach first came out, not everyone had the mechanics down. Wipes were common. I was MT and got hit with a tank buster. The WHM of our party refused to heal me. After I died I looked at his name… Little Green.
Me (Alliance chat): Little Green, what the shit?
LG: Say it bitch. Say my name.

MF raid wiped us for this joke. It was glorious.

  4. So my explanation for Frieza and battle power/power level is that’s he’s an unreliable narrator. He might have been lying about it being one million as an intimidation tactic. A possible counter point is that Vegeta does seem to get two big zenkais from the Recoome beating and Krillins blast.

  5. Has anyone else noticed that the only person Krillin really listens to is Gohan for this entire arc. Like, Vegeta hates Team three star, and constantly makes it known, yet only after Gohan points it out that he awknowledges it. Same with Dende, constantly insists his name is Dende, Krillin calls him Little green until Gohan calls him out.

  6. Speaking of voices staying mostly the same, let's draw some attention to the very notable exception of Masako distinctly aging Gohan slowly over the course of the next few years. Particularly SSJ2 Gohan clearly sounds older than base form Gohan. It's a remarkable feat of voice acting to take a young kid's voice and slowly transition him into his preteens. Especially since he has to still sound similar but distinct from Goku.

  7. 8:00 I disagree with your voice choice on 3rd form Frieza. Granted, it’s my personal preference that I like deep voiced Frieza (sounds more intimidating), but more importantly, I’m pretty sure his voice got deeper in the original dbz as well. In fact, this is probably my biggest critique of dbza, which isn’t saying much, since I like everything else.

  8. Watching you guys make this show for years was one of the things that inspired me to believe that I could write tv shows. Between DBZA, Apollo Guantlet, and old Cracked sketches, I started to think that hey, maybe I could do this too. It's fun to listen to you guys discuss your work as somebody trying to write scripts
