  1. god i read these the other day and just went "that's it? alright then i guess" i'm definiteely gonna wait for more substantial changes at this point, might uninstall the game for harddrive space honestly, god, i remember playing wh2 daily for months, what a ride it's been

  2. Did they nerf the Mark of Slaanesh in Tabletop? I really haven’t looked at it in years, but it used to make the character or unit unbreakable. That is what I thought was going to be the Mark of Slaanesh in Total War Warhammer 3, and just that on its own would be really, really powerful, but not in the same way as what they ended up with.

My problem with the AI difficulty changes is twofold: 1) Battle Difficulty still gives stat bonuses to the AI, so people who want smarter AI but don't want them to have stat cheats can't have both. 2) AI perfectly avoiding artillery shots on the approach is stupid regardless of difficulty. It looks stupid, makes entire unit types useless and makes artillery useless at damaging enemies on the approach while being good at damaging the enemies when they are engaged in melee. This is incredibly stupid. The approach is when artillery should deal the bulk of it's damage, it's when the melee grind has started that it should fall off due to risk of friendly fire. The reaction the AI should have to being shot at is either to close in to melee as fast as possible or move out of the artillery range, not dance around, perfectly avoiding each artillery shot.

  4. If we get a Lord Pack, I'd rather Cathay be one of them. They really need to diversify their starting positions. Kislev at least starts near the centre of the map, so can go in any direction once they've consolidated.

  5. I really, really, really want Nippon, Ind, Albion and araby. I guess they need to fill kuresh and that sounds cool too. Theres totally a cool lovecraftian, se Asian style faction with Fishmen that could be cooked up for that part of the map. I can see it. I know all this; 5 full new factions on top of dogs of war and chaos dwarfs is a lot to ask and its never going to happen. That's 7 factions and all up to the standard of the rest by the time they're fleshed out? Big ask, I know. But it just feels like a shame for them to get so close to the finish line and then not quite make it, not quite finish the game. There'll never be another chance to do it: a complete representation of the entire warhammer world. Itll be one of the best games ever. Its the elephants. Ind, araby and kuresh could all reasonably have war elephants and if there are none in the game by the last DLC I think I'm going to cry. Because Im insane. But that's irrelevant. I NEED my standard war elephants in this game. I dont know why I just desperately crave it and I have since day 1 of the first game. Dont ask me why, my subjective opinions dont have to be rational, I have no obligation to evidence my opinions. Its religion and so it doesnt have to make sense. DONT BE RELIGIOUSLY INTOLERANT CA. I DONT HAVE TO JUSTIFY MY RELIGIOUS BELIEFS THEY DONT HAVE TO MAKE SENSE YOU JUST HAVE TO RESPECT THEM AND DROP EVERYTHING AND DEVOTE YOURSELVES TO THIS UNTIL YOUVE FINISHED SLAVING AWAY ON SATISFYING MY DEMANDS AND I STOP THROWING MY TOYS OUT OF THE PRAM OR YOURE ALL BIGOTS. Please? IM SORRY I WAS RUDE, GOD, JUST ADD WAR ELEPHANTS ITS NOT HARD (sorry, I'm insane (and Im just joking but this is the internet and we all know what's going to happen next: I'm going to learn that Im just so wrong because i was just so terribly rude to poor ca because its not a joke and I'm just wrong because everyone is just such an expert on everything ever) but seriously when you think about it they have the animation rigs for mammoths. Its basically just a recolour… and a resize, I suppose). Who doesnt want to see how elephants perform on the warhammer battlefield? I need this. Sorry, I'll go away and leave you all alone. I clearly have a problem.

  6. 10:20 The low leadership is not a big deal for Counts and Coast, however it is a big deal for the TKs who have to rely on skeletons a lot more than the other factions have to rely on their low tier infantry.
    Tomb Kings do not have access to invocation of Nehek and their healing has been reduced by 1/3 as well. On top of that their skeletons now have only 35 leadership (31 on very hard battle difficulty) which means that they start crumbling almost immediately – and Tomb Kings cannot increase the leadership of these units at all. Not via tech, not via lords. The TK skeletons are now not really capable of holding back enemy units anymore on the higher battle difficulties.

  7. Oh. Hello Sotek. I miss your content because you often stream at the time I cannot watch it but I like watching your videos. I am concerned that TK debuffs may affect the campign as Settra, for example, is already pretty hard in IE. They should have use less leadership nerfs but add some other stat nerfs to compensate. But I am glad you dop not need to fight Khalida now. It was just dumb lore-wise.

  8. I'm really glad about the Drycha fix. I was excited to play her in IE, but was kinda put off by her broken quest battle and WE's inability to increase their WoM reserves. Now that both things have been addressed I might give her another shot.

  9. The nerfs to garrisons and the practical removel of minor settlements is still a absolutely terrible decision and needs to be revoked. That there is nothing in the patch for factions that suffer the most from it, like nurgle and bretonia, is very disappointing.
    The AI changes are great, but i´d say those things should be on an extra slider and not tied to the battle difficulty.

  10. I've been playing bretonnia and they seem to really struggle now, most of the minor brets are wiped out by turn 10. I really hope they do an AI rework for brets so they have better armies instead of constantly building crap stacks of peasants. Also it seems like belakor has a hate boner for the player, I played Alith Anar he attacked me, I play as Empire he attacks me, I play brets he attacks me, he's like an even more annoying Surtha.

  11. The one thing I want them to fix is the skill of mages where their skill increases winds of magic cap of the army by 5.
    It's a minor but very apparent bug, feels bad to invest that skill point.

  12. I think brettonia need a dlc. For me they are gettin weak and have a small roster i know quality is better but they need a rework. And nake the faction more unique i mean every factiom in bretonnia need their owns colors for the faction. I mean. Bourderleaux. Knight's have this schem. Gold, yellow,blue. White, black. Orange
    Couronne . Red, blue royal, wine. Mostard color. .

    They need to have the colors of their family shield and i think every faction have different families and shields

  13. I just don’t know about WH3 anymore. Something feels off about it compared to WH2. I don’t know if it is too much of one theme or what. Maybe I’ll fall in love with it again but I have just about zero motivation to play it. I think a big part of it might be settlement battles. I really despise them

  14. They didnt fix the minor settlement issue they introduced last patch by making them impossible to defend unless you want to babysit them. Until then I see no reason for me to fire up the game which is a shame.

  15. 47:52 Legend, interestingly, has an indifferent position on this. If they shoot he dodges, if they don't he'll snipe their Lord with charge attacks and a fast unit since they won't try to stop it. I'm guessing that level of proper adaptability has been something CA hasn't managed to achieve yet.

  16. The multiplayer tease has me mega-ultra excited—I’m DYING to see more YTers do the Crisis together now that this patch is out (I just want more campaign multiplayer content out there in general) and it looks like you’ll be providing!

  17. I disagree on mark of slaneesh. I think its nice sure, but at least its something i notice. I would really hate it if they would nerf it, i rather have them improve the others to match it. Of course, i do not talk about MP, thats not my thing.

  18. there is one thing that I think is a bit down, it's that everyone has to be at war against everyone, I know it's called total war, but I think it's very difficult to reach the side goal when you have to be at war with so many people all the time you're fighting everyone places from which you do not have the opportunity to keep your land borders even on easy
