I got a little lost at the end, I apologize brother I was paying attention and became confused, "Is jesus the messiah?" , "it is not yes" … I dont understand what happened here. Like I missed something but I didnt. Any help would be greatly appreciated. God bless the righteous!
Jeff, do you know why you celebrate Advent? Is it traditions or burning in your bosom or whatever because it's not in the Bible. If you were really believing in your Bible you would know that Advent is superstitious nonsense. So why are you selling this Advent crap?
Jeff, the Puritans banned the celebration of Christmass and would have fined you for celebrating Christmas.
In 1659, the Massachusetts Bay Colony enacted a law called Penalty for Keeping Christmas. The notion was that such “festivals as were superstitiously kept in other countries” were a “great dishonor of God and offence of others.” Anyone found celebrating Christmas by failing to work, “feasting, or any other way… shall pay for every such offence five shillings.” [This would be about $48 today].
Jeff there is no celebration of Christmas in the Bible. The early Church did not celebrate Christmas.
Christmas was not a holiday in early America. From 1659 to 1681, the celebration of Christmas was actually outlawed in Boston.
Jeff, you need to repent and not associate superstitious lies with the Bible and the Lord Jesus Christ. You are a disgrace for claiming to be faithful to the Bible.

This may be durbin's most powerful exposition on Jesus he's ever presented. I almost rate it with sprouls "holiness of God" lecture.
This was encouraging for my faith and it gave me a renewed perspective on looking to the Old Testament in order to share about how we know that Jesus is God.

As an atheist I don't believe, And I don't know why anyone would, please do read and study The Bible, And if you can come to any other conclusion that this is man made mythology nothing more, Then your part of a mass delusion. The Bible makes some very ridiculous, Absurd immoral and supernatural claims. It has not been demonstrated to be true or authoritative so why believe it. Because of the threat of an eternal conscious torment in fire. That's not gonna do it, Hell doesn't exist either.

Thank you for all your spot on preaching really believe you're a church that has the word of God as close as you can get it. Can I just ask one thing, can you ask Durbin not to snort his phlegm into the mic, I get a little sick in my stomach when he does that.
I believe in the Jesus of the bible because I have experienced his transforming power and wisdom. And not sorry to any who are triggered by this statement because they imagine that an experience of the risen Christ must be validated by their "pastor"
