Fire this clown Malone
Bad loss. Slow tempo, no 3 pt, subpar coaching, bench as usual. Without at least one all star player beside Jokic, and better coaching, no chip.
Broncos suck is spreading.
This nuggets coach is not a championship coach. A head coach that cannot handle variables is a coach that needs to be fired.
His team doesn't run and we consistently watch young tallent wasted on the bench.
Fire Malone or continue to waste Jokic. It's time to beat the drum.
MPJ back is done I think…and I'm doubting Murray is championship PG his efficiency is terrible… 🙁 their best guess is to time the operation on mike so he can return for playoffs a hope he hold for 20 games…
Nuggets have more inexplicable losses than any good team should. Murray's ego is out of control – he is seriously deluded about how good he is. Why is the 100th best player in the league touching the ball down the stretch more than one of the top 2 players in the NBA. Malone has not shown himself to be capable of having the players play tough-minded basketball. Give Jokic the damn ball and stop the Murray 90's iso ball bs. And if Malone can't get the players to do that–find a coach who will.
I'm starting to think that Murray coming back is not adding any wins, he's taking wins away not giving the ball to Jokic 🙁 so last year 48..this year you have Brown+KCP, that gives you few wins…but Murray takes away few wins, I think you arrive back at 48…
It's the coach
It all falls on coach. Malone is not a "call him out" type of coach. He wants to be in the good books of veterans. He is too emotional for a position like this. He needs to assess the situation and act hands on. Some days he is good but at this level, with this team, no foolishly bad days are acceptable.
Also Vlatko should get minutes. He was the 2nd best player to Luka in the summer. He can fix some issues by playing 10 mins a game.
Best win? Vlatko plays.
Worst loss? Vlatko doesn't play.

if you look at the west, there's real possibility for Nuggs to miss playoff, there will be like 6-8 teams split by few W/L…there's 11 teams that have some quality, so you can even miss the play-in…are nuggets better than Jazz/Kings/Suns/Warriors/Pelicans/Clippers/Blazers/Mavs/Grizzlies/Timberwolves? they are 50-50 against those teams, it's gonna be about who can beat the tank, and Nuggs already lost to Lakers and Pistons

Murray was horrible.. he hold the ball way too much and dribbles into the crowd. Also I'm starting to think that he is on purpose not passing to MPJ.. he was WIDE open on the wing multiple times and Murray is not even looking his way. Instead he ous dribbles around for nothing.
And ofc Malone was bad as usual
At no point in this game did I actually think the Nuggets were going to lose this game right up until the last 12 seconds or so.
The thing I don't get about this game, why does DJ get such a long leash? He has one job, rebound the ball. And he's getting absolutely embarrassed out there by a rookie.
Also, the team had no connectivity tonight. How many passes to the wrong spot? So much hero ball. Getting cooked by dribble penetration. And it's on Malone too, this team should have been playing zone for the entire 4th quarter. The Pistons scored 8 points after they went into a zone and 4 of those came at the foul line.

I've never been with the "fire malone" crowd but he has never been able to make this team a decent defensive and has never been able to make this team competent without Jokic on the floor. At what point is it the coaching?
I did not see the game but I am glad I missed it. Nothing frustrates me more than when the Nuggets can't or won't get the ball to Jokic. The ball should touch his hands in every half court possession.
Finally, these dudes realize what I was saying about Jamal/Bones regarding MPJ's shot diet the last few games since he went for 31 v CHI:
Both Mal/Bones are primary ball handlers. They literally control WHO GETS THE BALL, WHEN THEY GET THE BALL, AND IF THEY GET THE BALL AT ALL. Everyone who has watched this team since 2019-2020 knows Jamal passing the ball to MPJ seems like forced contrition, something you do that you dont want to do, so when you do it, you do it begrudgingly. A rhythm shooter like MPJ, or Klay Thompson, is completely reliant on getting the ball in rhythm because the timing to get off a good shot depends on it. Otherwise it looks clunky and is bound to be a massive brick. And when it comes to MPJ, that almost means the next time he gets a defensive rebound, hes taking the next shot, regardless of how stupid a shot it is.
The Nuggets are literally the ouroborros of basketball, eating their own tail in a cycle of ineffiency. Last night, it just happened to effect Jokic getting the ball, and DEN lost because of it.
Murray and Bones, have a mid game and we win by 10.They both underperformed.
But Tonight is all on coaching. This is a coaching loss.
We need to reanalyse the lineups.
