Ukraine’s counter-offensive to recapture the Russian-occupied Kherson region is “gathering pace”, according to Western military sources.

A key bridge into the southern city of Kherson is out of action after Ukrainian forces struck it with long-range rockets supplied by the US.

UK defence officials said the city is now “virtually cut off from other occupied territories”.

However, senior Ukrainian figures warned that Russia was now shifting its forces to defend the southern area.

  7. If Ukraine can conquer Kherson then make this city a strong hold for the Ukrainian army. Will be the first biggest reverse of the Russian army. Will be very rewarded for Ukraine victory.

  19. I think this fellow has it all wrong as far as the nuclear threat. What good will talking to them do?? It will do no good. All it will do is give them permission to continue their nuclear threat.
    Keep working the plan. That puts all the responsibility for the safety of the whole world on Russia and China. If they suddenly on a Saturday afternoon decide to launch a strike on London or New York they had better be successful and then that will only be for a few minutes and then they will be dead. They know it. Never offer yourself for blackmail.

    = Ukraine is having 25th counteroffensive with potential to turn fortunes… loses report says it ends same way as all previous ones… In Russian gaining land.
    = Mentioning that referendum is "Sham", to persuade population that future western actions against those civilians are "just restoring previous order". But that's what was doing illegitimate Ukrainian government for last 8 years. Yes, they prevented part of population from voting. (2nd class citizens.)
    = "Do not Negotiate" re-iterated, same way as Ukraine terminated negotiations early on right after Boris spent time with Zelensky.

  23. The Ukrainian army have taken more in one week than Russia has in 5 months . It’s a great start , but they need to keep the pressure up while consolidating all the ground they have won . In the south they will grind them out using up all their weapons against the Ukrainians but Ukraine seem to be able to weather the storm . And stop with the nuclear talks Boone will use nukes in this war uk is right on the border of Russia and Russia can’t control the wind so they would irradiate their own country and countrymen . I highly doubt putin is that retarded . . So stop the fear mongering by entertaining the nuclear talk that is what Russia wants . It’s blatantly obvious Russia is a regional power that happens to have nukes . Europe would wipe the floor with Russia never mind the USA . America are basically destroying the Russian army by proxy ,
