I still remember reading 'The Man Who Never Was' in grade school, I've been hooked on real espionage writing ever since that day.

This was a great WW2 story, I just recently watched a movie based on this and it was great. What makes this story so fascinating is that it's based on something that really did happen.

Mincemeat was kinda short
In Sun Tzu's inimitable Art of War, he observes, “All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive.” In World War II, Winston Churchill made his famous statement: "In wartime, truth is so precious that she should always be attended by a bodyguard of lies."
This was a lot more than Operation Mincemeat, but really entertaining! Operation Fortitude is one of my favorite things from WWII.
