The F-35 is so much more capable than what was stated. The bad opinion was based off of an early version that had its tech handcuffed due to the nature of tests being ran.
The F-35 is not a dogfighter but instead is a beyond visual killer. It will shoot you down or coordinate with a different weapons system to shoot you down without you even knowing it was coming your way.

But if you havent seen his channel before, give it a look sometime. He tends to have better updates about the situation than most news channels.

Russia has not maintained their equipment, numbers or military spending for decades. The Ukraine conflict has exposed significant weaknesses in their military doctrine, training/equipment deficits and most importantly has cost them 200,000 casualties (injured or dead), ~70% of their tanks and armored personnel carriers, hundreds of helicopters and many fighter jets. They still use World War I/II era tactics and equipment. Hypersonic missiles are difficult to defend against but they also cost 10-20 more that conventional ICBMs. Meaning, you could fire 10-20 more missiles, that in volume, are just as hard to defense.

I'd venture that the UK will be rising on this list again (previously a regular top 5 power even well after WW2), especially given the investment in your two supercarriers and accompanying carrier strike groups
I suspect the long running USA military-industrial complex is now becoming a hinderance to our national security as businesses only care about stock prices and not about doing good work.

While thousands of weapons were destroyed, both sides failed to live up to its terms. During the Trump admin. two of the three remaining arms treaties were abolished. Only one remains. I don't think there's anyone on earth anymore (other than Russians) who still believes Russia is the 2nd most powerful military in the world, especially after the Russian Army's abysmal performance in Ukraine. They're the second best military in Ukraine, maybe, but the world?! I don't think so!😆 Russia never was even an economic power, basing the vast majority of their GDP on gas & oil. They're a nuclear power for sure, but beyond that, they're a paper tiger. No way in hell, is Russia the 2nd most powerful military in the world. Maybe 11th or 12th, but definitely not 2nd. They're issuing WWII helmets and weapons to their conscripted soldiers because they don't have enough equipment to go around. They're using T-62 tanks from the 1960s in Ukraine for Pete sake! 😂
Russia is a legend in its own mind.🤭 As for China, their subsisting (right now) on an economic house of cards and their banks are on the verge of economic collapse, along with their inflated housing market. If their economy collapses, so will their military. It's definitely an interesting time in history, but then again, Russia has a long-winded history of over-exaggerating its military capabilities. BTW, the Russian SU-57 isn't even in production yet. Russia only has a handful of operational prototypes and these have been experiencing severe problems. The same applies to its vaunted T-14 Armada tanks. They haven't been deployed to Ukraine because Russia doesn't want the west to learn just how truly incapable these weapons systems are. As for hypersonic missiles, I hope people realize that ICBMs are hypersonic, and the USA has lots of them! 😉
You know, I find myself laughing at this. Everyone has this Weapon and it does this.. Everyone else has this Weapon and it does that.. And I'm just sitting here thinking about when we're going to be blasted so far back into time that we end up fighting Wars with Sticks and Stones again…
Hypersonic missles are overrated. Without nukes Russia is barely top 10 at this point. China rely heavily on Russian garbage.

They forgot to add is our 2nd amendment means the heavily armed civilians in the US, that vastly outnumber the military, make any direct assault on US soil impractical at best. 140,000,000 Americans own over 400,000,00 weapons and billions of rounds of ammunition. I’m glad it finished up by saying that the US has the strongest military. It does! By a long shot!. I have several family members who are military contractors working throughout the world and the power that the US military has still scares the heck out of countries like China and Russia both. Even though the US does spend a lot on tech related items, the overall might of the United States military force cannot be reckoned with by anyone.

If the war between Russia and Ukraine has taught us anything it’s that in reality lists like these are totally bullshit. The U.K. is much better and stronger than this biast commentary suggests. The list is based on numbers and NOT the more important technology. The U.K. shares the most advanced technology in the world with America. It’s much better than Russias as we now know. But more importantly it’s better maintained and mobile. Our military is better trained and supplied than France and Germany. Also we have a better equipped navy than France with TWO gigantic most advanced aircraft carriers and more destroyers, plus 11 nuclear submarines. U.K. tornados are only rivalled by the US and it’s meteor missiles means just 1 Typhoon can take out 10 other fighter aircraft. U.K. is also better than Korea AND Germany. U.K. also has 30 F35 full stealth fighters. Enough to take out 400 4th gen planes flown by other countries. The active personnel numbers of countries like India means next to nothing when a bomb can take out 100s of thousands with one shot. It does not have the advanced weapons to make it credible. The bottom line is numbers don’t mean that much. Russia imports its tech and as we’ve seen it’s now run out of weapons cos it can’t make any more due to missing parts. Same with India and Pakistan. I think we can all agree Russia has been found out to be a paper tiger. Not nearly as strong as numbers have suggested. It’s been plagued by poor quality equipment from China. They also don’t maintain their. Kit. USA is the. Only true super power in the world today. But make no mistake, the U.K. could put up a great fight against many of those in this list and would vastly out perform every other country in Europe.
When America went to kill Osama Bin Laden, Stealth helicopters suddenly were coming out of the woodwork. Nobody knew we had stealth copters until then. Also, yes, R and D has kept America ahead of everyone for a along time. The cost is pennies when you consider how many lives it saves and world stability in general. Also? How long can you compete against us? We have money, manpower for days. Also? This notion of "Gee, we don't know if America has an advantage or soon will not have an advantage." Ummm…US vs. the world is a no contest. Nobody sees a battalion of US Marines and says "We got this". For 20 years in Afghanistan…Another 10-20 in Iraq for those scoring at home.
The world leaders are literate. If their hypersonic missiles are all that? Good luck, you'll need all of it. The thing is it will always be America and NATO who will keep the peace through many many trillions of dollars and blood sweat and tears of US Marines and the rest of the US military. Combine it with our resources and ingenuity and we will find you. There's nowhere to hide and money that America will shoot down hypersonic missiles someday. We can kill satellites and ICBM's. America will be the first to establish a moon presence for evermore. Artemis rockets ain't cheap and overruns etc. as well. But to pretend like nothings learned because we quit a project is why America is America and Russia is Russia. They design crap and mass produce it. Russia can't win against a ragtag Ukrainian army. A few American weapons and intel. So the #2 in the world is losing to #92 in the world.

Russia has only used around 10-15% of it military in Ukraine,most of its best units are bordering NATO and china
the US has had hypersonic weapons. also have exercised laser weaponry in combat for decades. going on to utilize DEWs (directed energy weapons). but none of these are spoken of. that whole "appear to be weak" thing. but if i speak more… like i know eyes that have seen the British crown jewels, in Kentucky. think gold and vault. moved there during WW2
