Spoiler alert: You will also need either Bunny T3 or Skimmer T3 to get Jackal. Just either one and Bunny is probably the more useful one to get T3.
I too have been playing the game without the wiki, only using a guide if I run into issues (like a recent Season 2 quest that bugged out and I didn't know what to do). But just running around the map hitting points and doing tasks is great, then anything you need to complete the map you just look up if you at a total loss.

Im a veteran as well, and I tought about this kind of hero to zero video or guide, could be nice, do you think an actual speedrun of the first 500 ou 1000 ap would be nice?
Hello Teapot , i have off subject question and i'd like to hear your opinion , well i'm a new player into the gw2 world , so far i love the game it's so fresh out of whati used to play , tried few classes but not to their pick just out of a new player curiosity , still haven't find a main tho to focus on it , with upcoming patch i'm worried to pick the wrong one , i was just wondering about what's the future of classes after the 29th , so my question is , what would you advice for a new player to pick as a good overall class that can do most content also solo open world , i'd like to hear your opinion also all veterans players opinions would be welcome , great content keep it up 🙂

I've seen 30k+ AP and 455 mastery guys afk at boss, refusing to do sideevents and leeching by autoattacking. I have to imagine they are no longer treating it as a game, rather a gold farm simulator. "I'll let these plebs beneath me do all the work for me", as they leech it.

The grinds in this game are brutal. Everybody has a skyscale now and the journey is long as hell!

it seems like when designing HoT, they got to DS and realized they were short like 100+ mastery points and so just put them every 5 feet….."oh you walked past a blade of grass? mastery point!"
The raptor jumping thing is because they want someone that they trust that can handle their mount well before giving them one of their mounts. It makes perfect sense to me to only trust people that have shown a high degree of being able to train animals.
