It's amazing to me how insulting and demeaning border patrol is. They have no respect for the public and treat you like your a criminal.
This show is a perfect example of how science proves it's impossible for humans to gauge another human's body language or tell if they're lying. It's just not possible. Police officers are worse at it than others. Police think they are good at reading body language or telling if someone's lying but the fact is they are biased so it makes them worse. They also think they know how people should react to grief or other situations but they don't.
These cops pretend they don't understand someone's story or they pretend like their story doesn't make sense when it makes perfect sense. They're being deliberately difficult.
They could, at the very least, place tape or something over the puncture holes that they make. Chia seeds are literally pouring out of the bag.
