A game with a story and world mechanic of Pokémon with the fighting mechanic from survive would send me straight to heaven. Survive was mind blowing to me because the ability to evolve mid battle and despite the turned based being a little limiting the freedom we got to move around the map and fight several targets is phenomenal!
I think they should release the app version for the Digimon Tcg. As someone who does not have the chance to constantly afford those cards in real life but love the concept, I'd like the opportunity to play that tcg

Personally my dream games would be:
1) Digimon World 3 Remake/Remaster
2) An open world Digimon game similar to Pokemon Legends Arceus
3) A fighting game made by Arcsystemworks
I would love a sequel to Survive but, I'd like a different ratio. 33 percent visual novel, 33 percent battles, 33 percent actual survival elements. The one thing that really bugged me was there was no real survival elements in the game. The characters walked for a little bit and found an abandoned school to live in for the duration of their adventure which is okay, any port in a storm, but then the subject of food comes up and then they search the school and found a years worth of food just lying around in the 50 year old school's gym. Whew, for I thought we would actually have to scavenge for food and maybe coming across the meat plants or something. Also, it's a good thing that Dracmon being a partner digimon apparently, negated the fact that's he's a vampire otherwise he wouldn't have been able to live on stale rice, beans, and possibly spam. I kind of wish the game had survival elements similar to Lost in Blue 2, a DS game that had two teenagers stranded on a deserted island after a shipwreck. The characters would find food, supplies, make weapons and build shelter and things to make the shelter more comfortable. I know it's a pipe dream but I would love to have something similar.
A dw3 game with a smt(cyber sleuth) style story that allows other players to show up in game. That's my dream game. Bamco isn't known for keeping servers up, but it'd be nice.
Personally I would really like that last one and I think it is very possible considering Digimon World DS and Digimon World DS Dusk /Dawn are very similar in that regard. However, I think I would love it even more if they combined elements of Animal Crossing or Farming Sim games with that. For example, having you work on/creating a settlement in the digital world, if you need a reason it could be something like a special research project/group volunteer that was formed after humans started gaining access to the digital world, or maybe we could use yggdrasil without it going crazy and hating humans
Hoping for the day when we get at least the next 5 things in a digimon world game
1. Lively open world in the digital space that evolves as you progress the story.
2. As nearly as a big selection of digimon as we can get.
3. Digivolution reworked – Size to correspond with stages so we can start getting proper team sizes based on data/memory space limits and then have them "shrink" in size via compression and be considered their previous stage even if they are a mega.
(this one may sound confusing to most but I hope many can understand what I'm saying here.)
4. Have the protagonist access to all current digivolutions styles and make the playstyle revolve around this concept. Crest, Armor, Spirits, Fusion, etc and have team "members" you enlist to broaden you style or keep the same style you are using.
5. All stage have unique levels to them, that way it makes sense that an experienced rookie (lv99) can stand up to a (Ultimate lvl 10).
Yet that's just my vision for a digimon game I'm looking forward to that may well never happen.
I want a Digimon dating game where you can marry numemon.
Digimon survive would've been better if the combat had more variety than just damage. Yes, there are buffs and stuff, but they're beyond unremarkable. I went in there expecting some good ol' tactical combat that requires strategy. Instead, I was left dissapointed and not looking forward to engage in combat at all.
I loved Survive and would take another in a heartbeat, but would love to just outright skip dialogue, not just fast forward, and also have more chances for death, not just story related (I went Moral first so basically good ending, not True ending). I’d love a Fire Emblem style where you have a group of Digimon tamers and if they die in battle they’re gone for good

i want a Digimon game for the smartphone platform, a digimon style World saga or Story saga game, I want to venture into the digital world.

Digimon World 3 had some Pokemon vibes to it.
Raising Digimon wasn't complex like the 1st one in the series but not having a timer for the life span of the digimon was a plus for me.
The world was huge and being able to use any evolution at will after reaching the requirements made it more fun and don't forget , turn based battles.
Everytime Digimon tries something different it's awful. Not so much in premise but in execution. Cyber Sleuth is by far the best real Digimon game, because it's just a shitty persona, with the Digimon monster collecting/taming core. This also why Digimon Emerald is the other best Digimon game
I do love how Digimon Survive gave you one dedicated partner per human you had to stick to who was his own character, we need that more in digimon games and I would really hope they keep it if they made a sequel to survive.
There are several things I would buy day 1.
1. Digivice app: One of those things I’m surprised don’t exist. Just take the concept of the analog digivice toys, maybe update the graphics a bit, and then instant hit. You can raise at any time, battle across the globe and have tournaments. The only reason why I think they haven’t done it is that they’re afraid it’ll cut into toy profits.
2. Digimon Card Battle 2: New card game video game based on new tcg. I’d prefer a game like past card games where all the cards are put in and win currency to buy more. Have an online duel mode as well, but it can also work like how Yugioh and Magic app games work. Can even have a simple story: the new card game is spreading across File Island and all the Digimon love playing it. However, an argument broke out about which color is best and the Island becomes divided by color factions. Your character, based on what you choose for your starter deck (Agumon red, Gabumon blue, etc), goes on a journey to beat the faction leaders and stop the war. Any Digimon you beat can also join you and take the role of the character you play as.
Digimon Rumble Dual Arena: For this, instead of the usual style, this would be more like traditional fighting games (Street Fighter, Tekken). You start off fighting at champion level, then a special bar goes up every time you hit or are hit. When the bar is filled, then your character evolves permanently for the match. This changes some of the moves your character can use as well.
I like your ideas. I hope someone important sees this, lol.
