Indianapolis Colts – Jeff Saturday has national media figured! Sirianni’s Eagles present big test!

Jeff Saturday is in the center of the arena, so listening to national media hecklers is absurd – he’s smart for not doing it!

Philadelphia is coming in Indy, and depending upon Monday Night Football, they may still be undefeated! What has made them great so far this year? All the stats you would expect – turnovers and yards per pass chief among them!

Bill Belichick wants to expand replay to the final two minutes – to which I say NO!!!

Butler plays Penn State and IU women’s team is at Tennessee – both tonight!

  1. Yeah Ryan looked a little younger Sunday.. and great come back again! I think JT has a good deal to do with that pounding their defense over and over wearing them down..by the time the game gets into the fourth quarter passing game becomes a little easier.. and how about the defense! Outstanding.

  2. Hey Kent, love hearing facts. Could you point to the evidence of racism being involved in the Jim Caldwell firing? I have a friend that is asking me to prove how I know it to not be conjecture.

  3. Hey Kent, I have a question that I have asked a few times since yesterday and have yet to receive an answer to, and maybe you can pose this question to the ones I need an answer from. Rex Ryan and Bill Cower, and my question is this…how did they get on TV? Did they go to journalism school? Did the spend the time being a beat writer for a crappy AAA baseball team, and then years working their ass off on a local radio sports show…then to local TV…then to national TV?…Did they pay their "dues"? Or, did they just coach and then got a spot on national TV? How many "Kent Sterlings" did they leap frog to get their jobs?….and…someone please remind me who Rex Ryans dad is again.

  4. Saturday got a win, that’s good. However notice that he was allowed to start Matt Ryan and frank Reich was not. Was that just to show that they made a good decision with Saturday, in beating the Raiders the worst team in football.. This organization is really messed up. So what are the Colts doing? They may get a few extra wins with Ryan but that doesn’t help them Long term given Ryan’s limited ceiling.

  5. Kent, I think a big part of Jeff's answer about the media was about his faith and who he ultimately answers to. As a Christian, I'm a huge fan of Jeff! Frank and (especially) Carson sometimes used their faith as a tool to avoid criticism and accountability. Jeff is the exact opposite – his faith compels him to be accountable and the best version of himself!

  6. Look at kent A. Smith race baiting again, Caldwell sucks that's why he doesn't have a job. Tony Dungy sucked and look how long manning kept him relevant, Mike Tomlin is a great coach that's why he's a mainstay. You obviously suck at your job so by your logic you should hand the reigns over to a African American, I know there's way more of them more qualified than you.

  7. Zak Keifer goes on the Rich Eisen show and says all the coaches in colts building are pissed. coaches around the league are pissed about Jeff. then 2 days later Zak is on KBs show and says " I would THINK the coaches like Guss and John fox would be mad they were looked over" …. so when he is on the national show the coaches ARE pissed but when he gets on a local show, now the coaches might be pissed. lol. what bums

  8. I’ll never understand why people like Skip Bayless & Stephen A have a following… it’s literally garbage. Like you said, THEY don’t even believe the BS they’re saying 95% of the time. Just saying every & anything that gets views and clicks. Cant stand it.

  9. Jim Caldwell's career winning percentage was 554%. Chuck Pagano's career win percentage was 552%. Neither were fired or denied further opportunities because of their race Stop pushing a false narrative. In fact Caldwell was given a second opportunity to be a head coach and Pagano was not.

  10. Hopefully the colts will try to study to the best of their ability the weak points of the eagles. ( DON'T THINK THEY HAVE MANY), also to hope they can get some tight coverage and interceptions and cause some fumbles. ( LET THE EAGLES MAKE THE PENALTIES!!, NOT THE COLTS, NO PENALTIES GUYS. Good luck men.

  11. I like your rant on the media, but aren’t you the media? Don’t get me wrong, I don’t see you creating controversy for the sake of controversy. Is it the job of media members to hold their peers accountable or is it primarily the responsibility of the public? I’m asking you this, because the media is the gateway to prominent people and organizations. The public wants news, but we support the media with our clicks.

  12. The main media is disgusting. Jeff got the colts hcjob because he is a great motivator and leader. Great leaders have great people around them. All the haters are hypocrites. That’s their job. Great points Kent !!!!!

  13. Kent. Black population in USA is 13%. It is same proportions as black coaches in NFL. Are you with the woke mob that wants every coach in NFL to be black? Why? Even if it becomes 50% of coaches in NFL black, that is already disproportionately unequal. Think about it

  15. So let me get this straight…..
Jim Caldwell was black when he was hired, I believe?
So the color of his skin didn’t matter to the people that HIRED him obviously.
And then those same people that hired him fired him when they all of the sudden realized he had more pigment in his skin than they did!
    That’s sensible Kent!
    So obviously sensible!
How about this?….. you stop the race-baiting….. that’s a very sensible idea!
If I’m not mistaken, Frank Reich was also just fired…..with a winning record.
I’m just sure it was because he didn’t have enough pigment in his skin…. definitely.
I can look into Irsay and Ballard’s heart and see that…just like you can look into other men’s hearts and accuse them of such a disgusting thing.
    Just STOP IT.
That trash talk just divides people and causes them to distrust each other.
    You’re better than that…..
    I hope.

  16. I dont understand sports media they need to leave the political and racial thinking aside, no place in sports. The Colts had offensive line issues and hiring a former center is not a bad move. Centers understand the blocking schemes of every offensive line position, i like R. Wayne but Saturday was the better choice at this time and i believe Saturday could pan out and stay a head coach in the NFL. Im also happy for M.Ryan i knew he gave the Colts the best chance to win.
