Why don't you finish telling the whole story of Napoleon in Egypt and Syria, and stop misleading people. Napoleon and his defeated French Army were forced to abandon Egypt and Syria losing the best of the French Navy and thousands of elite soldiers in the first of Napoleon's many unmitigated military disasters. A sign of things to come for Napoleon, disasters and military defeats.
