  1. Can you imagine the women that called the cops is his own neighbor that knows him, but tells the cops it's young black guys talking that shouldn't be there. Yet the cops didn't even ask her for ID. The transcript is shocking as she clearly lied

  2. The police did believe him; but they are required to ID any person on someone else's property after a call. And, the idiot pastor is REQUIRED to show ID. Do you really want police officers writing the rules in the street or should the police follow all laws and procedures. The most disgusting part of this video is the idiot who could just have handed the police a driver's license and then went about watering the lawn. But, there is no money in that. Better to act the fool and go so far as to admit "go ahead I want you to arrest me. At least some scum lawyer will sue for big bucks. Not everything is racist, but a lot of things can be twisted to be so.

  3. If you haven't committed a crime you in most states in America you don't have to ID. Then to charge him what idiots. They can use their discretion but obviously their feelings were hurt when he wasn't doing anything unlawful so had to make up a charge. Hopefully he gets a good lawyer and gets it dropped. Terrible policing again. Thugs in badges. Not there for the community.

  4. Looking for a pay-out He was argumentative and did not identify himself properly – wanted to play the r-ace card and victim – he didn't cooperate because the cops were white and thus who is the true rac -ist namely the so called pastor

  5. I'm not from America; Can someone help me out?: If I don't know someone, what's the difference between someone being a pastor on a property with permission, and someone else grabbing a hose and merely saying that they are?
How would I be able to tell which is which?

  6. It sounds like the officers were being pretty cool about the whole thing. If they asked for his ID just give it to them. Lol!! I’m white and I’ve had my ID asked for a few times. Just give to them.

  7. Police arrived because they called by a neighbor, they were polite asking questions, but the guy answered angry, and said he was a Pastor and black…..so ….What the police were supposed to do???

  8. I have to show my ID AND IM WHITE AND THE COPS WERE NOT. I only weigh 102lbs and they were a lot bigger then me. If I didn’t show my ID I would have been put in a cop car. I knew I didn’t do anything wrong so I didn’t have a problem showing my license….

  9. This is the way we should react especially if you are a pastor:

Thank you officer for watching the neighborhood. This is my name, my full name and I will bring my ID as soon as possible. Thank you for your service. !

Acting defiant doesn’t help the situation !

  11. This is nothing but discrimination and it's really police harassment and is unlawful. Oh T. J. Now you can add "Voting While Black" to that list.

  12. Just cooperate with the law enforcement and resolve the case as quickly as possible . Being a pastor means absolutely nothing and the old pastor should be wise enough to know that. Totally unnecessary escalation

  14. This isn’t just a racial profiling problem; it’s a rookie cop problem. I hired one of my daughter’s friends who had previously been hit by a car, to help me with yard work, and heavy tree work. I paid him, then he rode away on his bike, stopped at a neighbor’s yard sale and bought a bike on sale. As he was riding his bike, trying to carry the second bike, the police stop him, then handcuff him! My neighbor yells for me to come. They threaten to arrest my neighbor, the dean of Loyola College, for trying to explain, (his brother is the lead international attorney for the Hughes Corp., they would have regretted it). When I tried to explain, the Asian officer bowed up at me as tho I would intimidate; wrong! He proceeded to threaten me while I’m standing on my property. After my verbal stance, he backed down, then removed the handcuffs. I called the watch commander, who explained they were extra cops called to Marina del Rey, and didn’t realize this was a special neighborhood. All neighborhoods are “special” and police are supposed to also protect and serve. Myriad officers are bully’s! People in authority bellow, but I can bellow just as loud, and I’m definitely not afraid of being shot, tho it’s not my preferred way to leave planet earth.
