BlackWarGreymon X VS Jijimon!! | Digimon Card Game: BT-11 Dimensional Phase Outbreak (QUARTER 1)

This is Quarter-Final 1 of the Dimensional Phase Outbreak, a tournament featuring 12 decks from the 11th main booster of the Digimon Card Game: Dimensional Phase. The first two decks that made it past the preliminaries are BlackWaryGreymon X and Jijimon. One swarms Tamers, the other nukes them. Who will survive this all-out showdown?

  1. Welp, there isn't much to say about this matchup. One of these decks clearly counters the other, and while it definitely isn't impossible for Jiji/Rust to win if they burst and have the right pieces in hand, in playtesting it was almost always a massively uphill battle. It's not just that (1) BWGX and Hades Force can absolutely wreck a post-swarm Jiji field, demolishing both Digimon and Tamer swarm, but also (2) the looming threat of the BWGX's line removal, especially when rendered cheap by Grey X, impedes Jiji's initial setup which is heavily reliant on [On Evolve] effects. So Jiji's win rate over my days of playtesting wasn't exactly pretty…

  3. Living up to the name, BWGX has taken out Jijimon and Taiga and now advances.

    Quarter Finals 2:

The Parrel World Tactician, Mastemon W/Mirei vs The Forgotten Enemy, Galactimon.

With only 2 Matches left for the Quarter Finals, we are rapidly approaching the end game. This is getting intense.

  4. The odds were heavily stacked against them, but Jiji/Tyranno put up a great fight. There was a chance, but it simply wasn't meant to be. I knew going in that Tyranno had little chance of winning, but I still held out hope for my favorite Digimon. If only that Ken was a Taiga. Still a great showing on both decks' strengths and weaknesses. Even though they lost, I'm glad that we have an actually playable RustTyrannomon, so it's still a win for me.

  5. From the looks of it, the Jijimon deck is more of a mishmash of all of the core Digimon in Digimon World and Re:Digitize, which is honestly pretty cool. I like that it's also still possible to make a more pure Tyrannomon deck for funzies, but I think in my Tyrannomon build I'm still going to be using Jijimon and looking into some of the other support. I just can't imagine leaving my big red dino man hanging.

  6. As usual, BlackWarGreymon X is very powerful, even its MetalGreymon X's inherited effect is considered deadly since every Security cards will go to Trash when trashed (no pun, seriously) with any kind of that effect

btw, I'm looking forward to your Duel Masters match video again, there are more cards in Win Era has been released, and the current highlight is next DM22-BD1 which is focused on Draguner and Dragheart usage, especially cards like MaltNEXT has been reprinted full 4 copies into the deck

Or you can make some good match using some of titular bosses archetype from the current set like Abyss Royale, Doran Gorghini, Drache der Zen, etc.

  7. Along the way Taiga collected garbage data for jijimon he meet Yuuya and his Black Wargreymon X. Yuuya and BWG-X challenge Taiga and his partner for battle with no other choice Taiga to fight sad things he not strong enough to beat Yuuya and Black Wargreymon X. Disappointed with Taiga, Yuuya leave the place with Black Wargreymon X.
With sharp eyes Yuuya said to Taiga : "Your pathetic partner don't even have change to beat my Black Wargreymon X because you to soft as a tamer. Next time we meet i want to see your truly seriously as a tamer or you will never meet your partner again."

  8. Question. So now witch metalgreymon people think is better? BT8 or the new BT12?
One helps with Tamers, gives piercing, and costs one less (it's evolving effect doesn't specify Greymon has to be the name), the other gives you more board control on the opponent.

  9. So based off the game state of the second to final turn rusttyranomon could not have killed because bwgx had greymon x under it which could have returned x-antibody to the bottom of the deck to prevent its deletion
