well, i guess it is true. we did destroy mars when we destroyed it as the mars attacks cards describe. the 1962 card set, not the horrible movie.
Mars was an incredible lovely place to live until liberals got in control and destroyed it. Martian conservatives then organized the colonization of Earth but, against their better judgment, they brought the liberals with them to Earth.

What if 65 million years ago, the last surviving couple on Mars escaped the planet because of some sort of catastrophic global event and ended up crash landing on earth, wiping out the dinosaurs?

I've got a theoretical idea to making an atmosphere on Mars using fine magnetic particles
See the problem is likely distance from the sun and lack of heat on the surface of the atmosphere like the layer you get when a pyroclastic cloud glides over water or you put molten material on ice. Its possible that without the solar winds we would not have a breathable atmosphere either.Since Mars is so distant the solar winds and heat of the sun create less of an affect which in turn would not have the required effect to create an atmosphere like our own.
