I really hope people who try to aoe farm are pvp flagged.
But what is your purpose in doing this? AoE farming normal mobs as a solo player is not a good method to level up. If you are trying to farm weapon levels or item drops then sure I'm all for it. I used aoe to level in WoW. But in New World? NOT WORTH.
Everyone is entitled to play the way they want just know that you will level far faster by 1. Main quest line 2. Dungeons 3. Town boards 4. Farm elite mobs in groups 5. Close corruption portals.
Some people will level up exclusively by gathering resources- doesn't mean it's efficient.

Demone, love your videos! A great balance of informative and entertaining. I have a question regarding weapon mastery (or for anyone that might know). For instance, if I take Evasive Tactics on the Skirmisher Tree of the Bow, is that only in effect when I have my bow equipped and out? Or would it be in effect when I'm using my spear? I suspect it's only when the applicable weapon is in use but would love confirmation.
If you choose east coast servers. Can you travel between the different servers within east coast, or are you stuck in the server within the main server.
0:32 that heal I thought you used a pot Jesus lol didn’t know fire staff could heal like that thought hammer and great axe was only ones to heal like that with weapon skills!!
Thanks Demone! My wife and I are going to be playing together. I know that there are a minimum number of players for dungeons. Any tips on how to find more for a dungeon, and are we better off finding company?
Not sure how effective it will be with so many people running around killing stuff. Might be a lot of downtime unless you are in week 2
You can do quite a good smack down with life staff AOE heal and then berserker so you don’t get knocked out the circle.
I dont plan on AOE grinding I just love your content!

Does anyone have tips for rapier? I see everyone say it’s the highest single target melee in the game but after getting it to lvl12-13 I found it to be very finicky and difficult to get value out of. Does it shine after a certain milestone?

Hatchet Berserk (prevents knockback) + Raging Torrent while using Fire Staff to pull and ignite.

You don't level from killing mobs in this game, just FYI. It's from quests or closing breaches.

I do this but full tank sword and hanmer. And I'm pretty sure I was able to pull a lot more too.

Could someone explain how mob tagging works and how long to mobs follow you, and when does it count as your kill?

At around lvl 31-32 I use warhammer to take deadman’s cove 4-5 mobs at a time solo, can get like 2.5 weapon levels in an hour

the best farmign AOE is Hathcet 8+ , lvl +2 +3high mobs u can farm easy , and i know coz i did all way in beta closed and open too so at lvl 17 was killing 6-7 ( 8) , lvl20-22 zombies and was get easy nice exp and weapon skill , no need extar weapon or thing just mass killing him , and at lvl 45 there is at north eas a pig farm where u just can mass killing them plus skin skill lvl up
Content for the people! I don't think I've heard anyone breakdown strategy for both new and veteran MMO players so succinctly.
