In the Dark Imperium the guardsman counting is counting the people present touched by Nurgle. Highest it was 49 which is 7 * 7 and 7 is the holy number of Nurgle.
7 of them grouped not knowing why and opened a portal for Nurgels daemons on the world.

the Chaos Gods having aspects of 'good' in them has been a very popular fan canon for a long time now. I've been a Chaos fan for a long time and that revelation broke me a little.
That tidbit about Khorne being honourable,or Nurgle being about life, or Tzeentch about hope, or Slaanesh about joy, are false. Their worshippers may have those qualities, but the Gods themselves do not care. They are the most extreme parts of those emotions "personified".
They are actively malicious and evil and anything that might seem 'good' are done to tempt mortals into falling into the worship of the Gods.
Of course, there may genuinely be 'good' Chaos *worshippers*, but Chaos inevitably corrupts. You wouldn't hear about a Chaos Daemon suddenly acting against its nature, and neither do the Gods.
But at least they can grant you boons and may actually answer your prayers, unlike a certain powerless corpse on a throne far away on a distant wor-

The problem with outlining the good in the will of the gods deeds is because there either going to be the little things in life, or unattributed. For example no one‘s going to talk about how Catia would never of stood for as long as it did without khorn, tens of millions fighting with everything they have for the martial honor their home world, for 15 generations of guardsmen before them, for the defense of their very home and the lives that it protects beyond, the king of skulls would be pleased. know one is gonna say the empower would never have left the throne world for the great crusade without the ambition and promise of the universe created by thzeench. Because chaos is in opposition to the imperium the only time it ever gets a chance to make a pointed action is one that is done for comparative evil. Hell “only in death does duty end” might as well be be nurgles favorite prayer, stalwart resignation and determination in the face of defeat.

It's hard to say when the chaos gods were born we know that khorne was the first of the chaos gods to gain consciousness and that happened during the human middle ages because of the wars of the time but we don't really know when that is in relation to other events happening in the galaxy, we know in 40k humans were also created by the old ones just like the ork and eldar we just don't know when, like was it just before the old ones were wiped out or was it much earlier allowing humans to get to the middle ages before the war in heaven, having said that things would seem to indicate that the chaos gods had been born before the necrons went into hibernation as they seem to know what chaos is and that it's not a good thing for the galaxy, so I'd say the first 3 chaos gods khorne tzeentch nurgle had probably been born by the time of the war in heaven but were still very young and weaker in power

I thought the chaos gods predate humanity and if they do why is it humanities fault that the chaos is tainted. The Necrons were doing tons of messed up stuff that filled the warp way before humans hit the scene. And not to mention don't orks and eldar predate humanity as well, and doesn't the warp take in emotions and thoughts from all forms of life not just humans. Are Orks and Tyranids immune to the effects of the warp?
And I'm sorry I am a Emperium sympathizer, yes the Empire does some messed up stuff even to their own but you live in a world where everything wants you dead. And humans are naturally at the bottom of all races in 40k, they don't have superhuman strength like Orks hell the average human can't even go toe to toe with a snotling, they might have psykers but not in abundance like Eldar, they don't possess hard skin that can't be scratched like Tyranids, and when a literal demon shows up at your front door with a chain axe screaming "blood for the blood god skulls for the skull throne" my first thought isn't I wonder if he has a good side. I would argue that humans are doing everything in retaliation for what is out there.

15:34 that's the first time I had this thought, the Immaterium and, by extent, Chaos Gods exist outside of boundaries fo time. That means that the Gods might not even be exclusively influenced by the current events, they might be experiencing the War in Heaven right now as well as maybe some distant future where the whole universe is swallowed by ghoul stars or something and it's thousandfold more grimdark than the 40th millenium. They might be influenced by ALL of time from the supposed big bang to the end fo time itself as a concept.
The chaos gods, the real chads of Warhammer. Also, you're wrong, Nurgle wants decay AND life, he sees them as a cycle, inseparable. Also, Kharne doesn't aim for death, he aims for honorable combat, endlessly.

all living things will get eaten by tyranids until they move on or starve themselves out, Necrons inherit their galaxy back, the silent king dies somehow, Trazyn the Chad inherits evrything, and got all the characters of all races we like in his museum in stasis and chills with them now and then 🙂
I like how he started the video by saying it's just imperial propaganda – it's ironically chaos propaganda that chaos is good – Chaos fools people into thinking they are good it's like a recruitment advertisement to get weak people to join them. It's an inside joke that you tubers who claim chaos are good are the ones that would easily fall to chaos believing their recruitment pitch.
Don't have time to watch all this right now but … THE CHAOS GODS ARE NOT THE GOOD GUYS. The chaos gods are the the manifestation of all human emotion. At best you could say they are neutral. While Khornes followers may not stab you in the back due to having honor they also won't hesitate to hack your grandmother into pieces. There are NO good guys in 40k. Period.
I think the old ones made a huge impact by making the Eldari it seems anytime the pointy eared fuckers die on masse the warp is greatly damaged because the necron don't have souls to feed the warp neither do the orks so the only souls being fed to the warp at the time are Eldari and the Old ones.
