How would you rate the power Level?

I played Marneus again last night, so good! I really enjoy this card design. โค
I bought the precon before it was snatched up at target, I look forward to building it up further
what about horn of Valhalla for a lot of tokens
Break the bank pls
Been having a lot of fun with blessed sanctuary in my budget roon build
Arent the Tivit investigate clues separate instances of token creation? Would each draw you a card, or no?
I bought the precon and was looking at upgrading it further with Calgar in the commander seat so this video gave me some great ideas!
How does the deck win tho ? Im currently struggling with my marneus build
I'm surprised that The Council of Four is not added to this list, a cheap card that acts like a great card draw and token engine.
when the next Close Quarters Gameplay?
I like Marneus but if Marneus is a hammer Inquisitor Greyfax is the scalpel. I played with both out of the precon and I kind of preferred Greyfax: giving my troops a power boost and vigilance and being able to attack and tap down something or block and tap down another attacker is really useful not to mention the Clue token that you get with the Master Decoy ability. I am curious what kind of a deck you would build with them Mitch ๐
If you can make infinite mana with scepter or smth like that you can draw your library with the commander and up until that point you can just play stax.
I want this commander so bad but I'm gonna get it as an alter of Preston Garvey from fallout 4
Laboratory Maniac is a fantastic and hilarious win condition ๐ just use some jank to have instant speed drops of him and draw out to win in response to them trying to respond after he hits the field ๐คฃ๐ ๐คฃ

Does myriad proc his ability
Please explain more precisely if Tivit tokens are created all at once, or each separate times drawing more cards or not. Get what I mean lol?
At this point I have all the budget cards he usually recommends
Mitch you should start a budget league on spelltable.
Good call Bill. This is one I've been interested to see.
Average mana value 3.71.. no thanks. This deck will be so slow, by the time you start drawing cards you're gonna deck yourself
Ashnods altar Is only like 7 bucks. It plus nadir kraken and commander can go infinite, and easy lab maniac or jace maniac can just have you win.
Dollhouse of Horrors Mitch, Dollhouse of Horrors
Good vid thx for your work, I learned much about budget magic thanks to you
Doesn't investigate X trigger separately? Like for Ethereal Investigator where it ETBs and you investigate X times where X is the number of opponents. Wouldn't you create a clue token 3 separate times and then get 3 separate Marneus draws?
Not budget, but a good reasonable upgrade would be curiosity crafter. you have no max hand size and you draw a card whenever a creature token you control does combat damage.
I really wanna build this deck
Dude he might make it in the 99 of my ramos legends token counter spam
Okay Mitch, here's a challenge for you. Let's see if you can make an Anrakyr the Traveler deck…..that costs just 10 dollars!
"Cabal on the field!"
Whitch app is been used as a deckbiulder tool?
I'm thinking a few sac outlets instead would make the on-death payoffs a little more consistent, but I absolutely love how the whole build turns deny the witch into a finisher. Very thematic! Papa smurf would never work with a demon though!!!
My advice: Play cards like dark Privilege (sac a creature: Regenerate) to protect your Commander and get death triggers. Con: You got infinite combos
Such a cool commander, some how both generically strong and specific enough to give a direction to build around.
As an aside it would be cool to see some decks that instead of just following the less then a dollar per card were ways to upgrade and rework precons. still use the rule for cards that are added but allow cards over the limit that are in the same precon as a commander to be used.
I've build marneus with a artifact token strategy. Treasures, clues, food, thopter, myr, servo, constructs. It makes all of them, and it makes them alot. Mix in some artificial aristrocrat and close out the game. I finally got a reason to play marionette master and it's friends nadier's nightblade and Tezzeret, master of the bridge.
Why you put that many trash cards in a good deck? Tapped rocks for 2? Reef worm? Really? This is not budget, this is inconsistently.
You can even go endless with this commander with training grounds + Ashnods Altar and draw your whole Deck. With Thassas Oracle you can finish the game ๐
Doesn't each instance of investigate trigger separately so you draw a card for each investigate trigger?
