Putin says Russia must speed up Ukraine conflict decision-making as winter approaches

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday that the country needed to speed up decision-making in relation to the military campaign in Ukraine.

Speaking at the first meeting of a new coordination council to manage the governmentโ€™s work on the home front, Putin said increased coordination of government structures and regions was necessary.

A day before, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that his country was โ€œbreaking downโ€ the Russian army.

โ€œRussian potential is wasted on this madness, on the war against our state and the entire free world,โ€ he said.

Zelenskyy also said the coming winter would be the most difficult in the countryโ€™s history.

This month, Russia started a new campaign using long-range cruise missiles and Iranian-made drones to attack Ukraineโ€™s energy infrastructure ahead of winter.

  1. Russia Ukraine War – Winter ?

Russian military equipment, particularly electronic equipment, is far more likely to fail or malfunction in the cold, than armaments of Western design and manufacture. The fact is that the Russians cut corners, lack know how, and use inferior components. That is in addition to the fact that Russian soldiers are very poorly equipped, and poorly trained, when it comes to winter warfare. The winter will give Ukraine military forces some significant additional advantage. In some cases, even if all else is equal, which it won't be, pinning Russian forces down for any prolonged period of time will result in their suffering exposure, frostbite with potential loss of limbs, and possibly deaths from hypothermia. The Russian invaders in Ukraine have nothing to look forward to as to the coming of the cold weather, and absolutely everything to fear.

  4. Whenever Putin is the topic, lots of Russian bots turn up. Their postings are intended to distract from the fact that Russia once again invaded Ukraine in violation of international law. With the aim to take over Ukraine as far as possible. Therefore attack on 1.400 km width and accepting enormous damages. Thus, the Russian army already destroyed over 1,500,000 homes & over 10,000 schools, daycare centers, hospitals, retirement homes, administrative buildings, etc in Ukraine. Over 11 million Ukrainians fled according to UNHCR data already until April before death or Russia dictatorship into the west Ukraine and EU!
