I’ve also noticed while playing that each season changes the type of monster you can get with the tap mechanic( I used 3 different skylanders for this and each season gave them either one different monster to 3 different monsters.) I also (spoiler alert) found parts for a robot kaiju in the adventure mechanic and a coin that gives you the farm alien guy as a kaiju. There is alot to this game and not a lot of information yet about it.

  8. Just to get it out there, rampage can have a good side effect.

    Sometimes when your kaiju cause a rampage, they run away for a few weeks and have their max stat cap increased when they return. Max stat cap can be raised up to 12k using this.

  10. I saw the Stream and loving it. I plan to get it next week in November to buy a eShop card from GameStop and get $5 off on my monthly purchase.

    So I’ll get the game for 40 instead of 50 as I bought a $10 card for 5 in October.

    I’m in a monster raising mood now. Been playing Digimon World 1 yesterday and can’t wait to play this one.

  11. If you buy the asia english version of this game..you still have to enter a song title just like the Japanese release..seriously you better off buying the us one choosing a song is a pain in the back i always end up using the random regenerate button anyway..

  14. Monster Rancher 2 on the GBA was one of the first games that I poured hours upon hours into. This looks like a modern version and I look forward to trying it once real life slows down. Thanks, Ed! Big fan of your content and I appreciate you helping me know this exists!

  17. Really been enjoying this game also. Oh, and in the help menu it hints at possible positive results when your monster rampages. Like gaining stats by going to another ranch and fighting or digging (if you played mr2 then you know this could unlock something). Oh also in the help menu is a callback to the anime with a pic of trainer info named Genki :p
