  1. Looks absolutely amazing, not OP, but very verastile. Good in Chaos Knights (if you don't care about abhor), with solid build options for psychic/beefcake/blender, or some middle ground between the 1st and 2nd. Also an interresting ally option for CSM. Balemace is hilarious, I'm actually in tears when imagining this attack IRL xD Some serious SQUAD BROKEN vibes right there.

  2. Something I'd like to see, if possible, is a video exploring the topic of how to best use a knight in other chaos armies, via the new Agent of Chaos synergy. I may just be biased, though, as someone who thinks owning and using a knight would be cool, but who can't justify getting an entire army of them. I've got both a csm and a daemon collection that I've been slowly growing over the years, and fielding a knight alongside either would be awesome.

  3. hi, an idea for a video if you are looking for some, with the ally rule: best knight to put in a ultramarine, death guard thousand sons, etc. and how to build them, stats, weapons, skills, powers…

  5. Its a model that costs you ~25% of your total points, has 10" movement, cant hide, and your opponents will focus fire it down within the first 2 rounds. FNP (that you arent going to have anyway when you go 2nd and can be denied) is just not enough. I think I am just going to stick to my wardog spam list for now.

  6. Gonna build a Khorneflakes army in the neaaaar future (depends on those pesky little berserker model rewamps). Thought about supporting them out with a knight and some hounds, thus came to the idea that the new kit might be viable especially, since you've stated that it can work quite well with khorne allegiance. Whadayathink?

  7. I do think it's somewhat a shame they didnt get a 2+ save. It's not the big guns I'm worried about now, it's being taken down by 40 necron shots that auto wound and I'm only saving on a 5+… weight of fire will bring these guys down over a couple of turns

  8. I will personally be taking an Arch Tyrant Abhorrent with Knight Diabolus and Warp Haunted Hull, blessing of the dark master, and the 4+ Invul relic for my games. Probably the melee buff power and five+ FNP for psychic.

  9. From the leaked codex I looked at Coruscating Hate was worded differently than what you wrote in your review. It states that after you deal the MW to the enemy unit, you then select the closest visible enemy unit within 6" and cause 1 MW on a roll of 2-3 and D3 MW on a 4+.

  10. I would say it is good, as long as you opponent can't deny your 5+++ spell. Without it the knight is still ok and a good and tough psyker for ok-sih points, but in the meta with lots of very big guns, it seems to be only playable with all possible defense stuff on it…
    Still extremely cool!

  11. While it's a cool model, it sort of feels like GW hasn't made the statline competitive with all the meta creep that's been going on.

My Knights army in 9th gets tabled regularly by armies with a new codex due to the statline making it too easy to take down a Knight. They aren't walking scary death machines, they are bullet magnets in a game of ever more crazy damage output weapons.

Personally, I think GW's focused too much in trying to find ways to ally in a knight to encourage more people to pick up the odd one here or there and as a compromise a pure Knights army is still left uncompetitive.

  12. I'd love to see a video exploring how these might fit in with the agent of Chaos special rule. How would it fare in a Thousand Sons army? Death Guard? CSM-EC?

  13. I tried it out in a thousand sons unit… It was sadly anihalsted in one turn mostly in melee. Even with the feel no pain, no Invul in melee REALLY sucks .___.

  14. That's what i want but for this i want to combine the upper body of this knight with 3rd party Rotten Armour Kit recommend by Spikey Bits to make my ultimate nurgle Psyker Chaos Knight.

  15. on the 'tough knight' page you list the lascannon shots needed for an unbuffed knight. How many lascannons on average would it be for a non-abominant with the Blessings of the Dark Master (bearing in mind he would probably hit his 10 wounds faster) and in house Herpetrax?

  16. if you want to do mental interrogation with a knights army, I would suggest summoning a daemon herald, as theyre really cheap, especially the slaanesh one at 55pts. This lets you be psykerless at the start of the game if you want to take Abhor (if you dont take the abominant)
