A little late due to sick kids BUT finally here talking about the new MW2 campaign!
Wishing the kids yet again a speedy recovery devil I swear it’s an ER visit every other week
i loved this campaign, played through it 3 times. first on veteran, then realism (no hud), and recruit just for fun. But i feel like the missions got less tactical and more guns blazing as you progressed I was really hoping for more missions like clean house from MW2019.
It seems ppl that don’t have guns tend to lean toward the negative with this game. I agree with Devil dog. But I would like to see more of the alone mission stuff in the future. Overall, I liked the campaign. It seemed to have pieces missing. They could have filled the story with a few more missions that would have filled some holes and made it a little longer.
I thought the General Shepherd story arc was poorly written. This makes no sense why 141 would later trust him to help kill or capture Makarov. I totally agree about the story not really being dark like they were hyping. Ghost Recon Wildlands was a way darker story about the cartel. The enemy and team A.I. was another disappointment for me. Too many fire fights was just me alone killing all enemies with no one helping. Also I was hoping to see a leave no man behind apsect in the campaign. Guy's dragging or picking up screaming wounded to get to safety would have added some much needed realism to the game. We only got a glimpse of that in the final mission.
So, Campain actually worth it? Was reading a bunch of "meh" reviews. But, hearing an actual gamer talk about it and not someone posting a review behind some big company name makes it seem better
no "no russian" type mission. sad times.
This entire campaign was a snooze fest. Only three decent missions. The only character I liked was Alejandro. Soap was acting like a PFC kissing ass to ghost. it 100% felt like they cut a lot of content with his campaign.
I've only ever played Call of Duty 2 and one of the other World War II once does anyone have any suggestions about which Call of Duty to like start on like for campaigns and stuff?
Was hoping for some more slow breach and clear like Clean House in 2019… I still replay that often
The subtle facial expression from Graves and Valeria is SUPERB! MoCap implementation is excellent
Skipping it, they brought too much of the weird warzone stuff into the campaign. Weird masks, weird weapons, strange vehicles, AQ equipped like a ranger BN. Whole thing is just too over the top for me.
Yeah screw those guys that complain about the southern border mission.
These blue hairs are ruining everything! YES! PREACH DEVIL!
The betrayal of Shepherd in THIS MW2 makes as much sense as Shepherd's betray in OG MW2. Nothing in this scene actually makes sense or even the response of 141. Unlike OG MW2, Shadow Company didn't openly became hostile to 141 until 141 themselves because actively hostile by disobeying orders to stand down. And then Shadow Company opened fired on them for really no actual reason other than fists were thrown.
This is really no different from MW1 a couple years ago when Price was told to stand down but he went rogue. Better written, all 141 should be doing is stand down and leave. I assume Shadow Company has a plane too take 141 out of here regardless of their complaints. They are soldiers that is supposed to follow the chain of command when presented with bullshit orders.
The OG MW2's betrayal was more surprise where Shepherd company shows up, kills Roach and Ghost outright and burns their bodies and then attacks Price and Soap to cover up things. Here, the cover up makes no sense. If Shepherd wanted to kill 141, he could have done the exact thing as OG Shepherd. A surprise hit.
Hahaha, glad you mentioned some of the voicelines. I also thought they were wack at times, like they were intentionally straying from the normal way to say something just for the sake of being different 😂
Not as good as first one
Graphics look great, but I feel as though the environment isn't real enough to encapsulate you irl. Amsterdam is pretty windy during that time of year, and I dont think I even seen one leaf rustle. Just my 2 cents, I will wait months after release.
Def always find it funny that the main thing people get hung up on out of every single one of these missions all together is the border missions de escalation.
And that alone somehow drops it by 2 points or even 3 for some, somehow
Lol video games are made for young children even M rated ones, a triple A game will never truly be dark
My big issue with this game is all the small team sneaking makes me feel like im playing more Black Ops than Modern warfare, I wish there was more like actual battles
I was impressed with Graves. Facial animations and expressions in this game were great
theres no hud in realism mode
That mission with the marines, no one had optics or IR on thier rifles
Playing on Realism takes the Hud off FYI
This campaign was sick top 5 for sure
Idk this campaign was sick for me some missions where retarded but overall the campaign was good
Can we get a bbqing with devildog vlog
Subscribing since you're from the Pizzle 🙂 Also you can turn off HUD after beating the game
that thermal magnifier is in multiplayer! i used it in the beta
of course it's not realistic it's call of duty and it's a fucking game
I’m 35 years old and that convoy mission made me throw my controller for the first time in 15 years
So, you thought it was bland and unrealistic, but you like it because it pisses off "blue hair social justice warriors"? Thanks for giving me the final push I needed to unsub.
Still don’t know how people say this is the worst campaign.
The last CoD game I played was WWII and it was so so scripted, on rails, couldn't really play as you want. We just as well being back playing Time Crisis from 1995. How is MW2 just as bad?
The military advisor should have been on them for shepherd saying repeat on the radio.
The graphics are amazing, but graphics don't make good gameplay and unfortunately I found the majority of the game very slow paced and boring, some missions are OK but the pacing isn't great, also I agree on the convoy mission, I would say that's probably the worst Call of duty mission I've ever played
Dude, I get it. Been watching you for over a decade and I have a little one now too. You upload just talking about dad shit and I’d be here for it. Lol.
