Sounds like 100 settler workers are highly expendable. Now If it were to work and I seriously doubt it then there is the next step …do they follow our stupidity of Alliwing a ruler, and other government idiots who don't work but live off of us? Do they use money? How are they compensated? Are they treated as some are better than others? How do they stay happy in their off time? How would kids born be happy considering it would take several lifetimes to not feel imprisoned and perpetually always about to die? Fuel can be carried separately in pods that can be designed to attach as needed which would save on consumption. Magnetics can replace fuel all together I believe, if not still can aid greatly in preventing crashes…we could be doing that now. Education should be free so more people could add to what is hypothetical and still being learned and tinkered with ( our lives ). AI is so smart but no help? Are you kidding me? I have yet to hear of AI solving anything despite it being touted as so brilliant. AI is so brilliant it should have all the answers no? Prove AI worthiness and I might believe this is a worthwhile venture

Fun life experience I had some joy of showing some people as I'm a gamer, a Gameboy advance game had some interesting notes of human capabilities despite being a tactical turn base war game. You mean who will be the first to Rule Mars? You cant tell me no one will have dreams of ruling a new planet with no one to stop them and unlimited resources. I don't believe that they are planning to live there indefinitely. I think they'll do what is being done here on Earth. Strip it of resources.
