Officers with the Colerain Township Police Department encountered what some call a βzombie deerβ on the side of a road on August 22. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources said the deer was suffering from βEpizootic Hemorrhagic Disease,β a hemorrhagic disease that causes a variety of symptoms including losing their fear of humans.

CWD is a terrifying disease that causes the body to suffer. It wasnβt killed for no reason, it was an act of mercy.

I want to know who got to bring him home to the freezer. Once a deer hit my car and totalled it. It almost totalled me. The officer said I was lucky to be alive but the deer wasn't so lucky. The officer asked if I wanted to take it to the butcher. I ended up giving it to the Perdue truckers that helped me. They called the police on there CBs. Back then there was no cell phones. The truckers thanked me for the deer.
These cops are very heroic if it's not people they are shooting it's animals they love it. We have to rid society of dangerous deer.
