My last Virgin Atlantic trip was on an older A330 in 2018, MAN-ATL. Seemed a good fit for such flights and I can understand why they went for the Neo…

I still prefer the A330 as the 787 is riddled with problems, the A330 is a safe, reliable and comfortable mid sized long range aircraft that's proven itself time and again.

The A330neo is really a big step up from the A330 and looks fantastic, but I still prefer the 787 to any A330. Slightly more modern more comfortable aircraft.

I won’t be flying in one with Virgin, too woke for me. Last time I flew was i think 10 years ago, we had a gluten free meal over but on the way back they seemed to think my wife would not need one so had nothing for her. Also had the worst seat ever with my knees touching the seat back in front without the recline. Once bitten and all that.
Hope it will the plane on our flight to or from Boston in December
