  1. Here's a way to survive it when you see the locals telling you to avoid it and acting aggressively when you go near it, turn the other way, go back to the hotel and sit by the pool, relax with a good drink and a good book or go swimming and forget the creepy temple covered in murderous plants probably related to the Triffids

  2. There's an alternate ending showing Amy's grave after she had escaped, obviously telling us that she died shortly escaping the pyramid and making it back to the US, a caretaker for the cementary is shown walking past her grave while whistling but all the sudden he hears a slight hum coming from her grave, it's revealed that it's actually the carnivorous plant's flowers mimicking his whistle, tricking the caretaker into touching it, this means that the carnivorous plant has escaped the confines of the pyramid by growing out of her body, meaning that it's about wreck havoc across the US and possibly the world.

  3. Stupid tourists make another movie possible. Cause god knows how many red flags they’ve gotten. Multiple locals warned them already. At this point, if you die, you die

  4. I have some major issues about the idea of the plant threat in this movie. What keeps birds, insects or any other animals from spreading the plant spores anywhere? The wind? Rain run off? Honestly it is an interesting concept but doesn't go too far in reality.

  5. I wouldn't go with a ring-shaped fire pit for TWO reasons:
    1. What are they gonna use for fuel?
    2. Any fuel source is eventually gonna burn out (and I don't see a helicopter, so I don't see them making a run to the hardware store)

I would've kept AT LEAST two people on watch in shifts (most sleep, but the others stay awake and are relieved from guard duty after a pre-determined amount of time, then THEY sleep).
Plus, the vines can't sneak up behind anyone.

I would NOT attempt to escape the pyramid by running into the jungle!
Sure, the tourists would get clear of the vines, but the Mayans, who are already angry, know that jungle like the back of their hand, while the tourists don't, so it's a 50-50 chance.
Plus, who's to say that the Mayans didn't sabotage the jeep while the tourists were away from it?

  6. I prefer the how to beat Korean horror puzzle movies, mainly because I don’t understand Korean, so I won’t have to worry about already watching an English movie recap!
