Why does Jess do all the lists? She doesn't even game! Or do her own lists, and her lists are terrible, I mean every game on this list has a more overpowered weapon than the ones in this list! Thanks thirsty fans!
I'm fine with overpower weapon in single player games but don't just make it a end game item. I rather have it available in new game plus than just being available at the end of the game.
I love how useless stats are outside of the specific rpg. "The buster sword starts with a magic stat of 22, that's also the attack stat. It ends with a stat of 91" is a completely nonsensical number and means nothing to anyone who hasn't played the game recently.
I feel like you should have mentioned Moonveil from Elden Ring to be honest. The fact that it’s a Katana and it’s special ability can just SHRED enemies with magic damage xD
The heavy bowgun is absolutely not the face of monster hunter for the weapons, that easily goes to the large sword or the Hammer, idk about the damage but I never saw anybody use the guns
The ME2 weapon that should've been on this list was the black widow. When used on insanity you can almost 1 shot any non-boss and with an infilitrator and tactical cloak you can one shot anything
I remember there was that one Level 1 gun in Anthem that was better than the end game weapons you got. This was at launch where everything, especially loot, was a mess.
honorable mention: Griswolds Edge:you get it from a random quest, and midway through diablo 1, and alot of times its top shelf compared to the other stuff youve found, and if you play your warrior right, it can take you through the rest of the game comfortably with its knockback ability and decent damage
Horizon Zero Dawn: Forbidden West – Sharpshot Bow equipped with Braced Shot. At certain difficulties and the right mods, you can pretty much One-Shot even the big enemies if you hit them right.
Kingdom Hearts – The Ultima Weapon
Cyberpunk 2077 – Though not a weapon… Nevertheless the Areondite CAR is one of the fastest must luxurious cars you can get.
I'd say the Plasma Caster is a contender for a top tier weapon in Fallout NV. It does great damage, especially when full upgraded and with maximum energy weapons skill points. And it's ammunition consumption rate is low, making it a good long term weapon. It's also good at range since it fires slower than other weapons. It's main downside is CQC, but it handles most things well enough in those circumstances, even though it's not meant for that situation. And it's condition does deteriorate faster, so you'll have to repair it more often. But it's still one of my most reliable weapons, especially for an energy spitter.
Skyrim: race orc weapon sthalrim battle axe with the chaos enchantment and frost enchantment with maxed out destruction perks and any of the 3 dragon priest dlc masks combined with alchemy boosting two-handed and destruction even farther it takes some time setting up but once your done the damage is insanely busted I used this set up in a tribute build I did to the friend of mine that introduced me to the game that passed away 3 years ago if I wanted too I could have boosted the damage even higher by becoming a vampire with necromage
I gotta admit i play video games for their story than their combat. A weapon that helps me get past the annoying combat is a wonderful Aquisition. I'll add that i hate when a game "Scales" opponents along with your levels. An OP weapon can go a long way to ameliorate that.
Id have to say Windshear was the most OP weapon in Skyrim. It may not have dealt the most damage, but enemies couldn't really fight back if you used it.
The Buster Sword isn't even remotely OP. It's basic and boring. Cloud is (obviously) designed as melee-DPS, meaning Hardedge is significantly better, but even for a "middle ground" build the Twin Stinger has much better bonuses and materia growth. That aside, the BS, the Axe in GoW, or any other weapon that you spend literally the entire game upgrading, are far from what you would consider OP. Something scaling up to remain functional doesn't = OP…

Since when is God of War classified as an RPG?

9:21 …minigun the avenger is a minigun not a rail gun
I couldn't make it past #10, whoever made this list clearly never played Final Fantasy.

Sword of Aeons from Fable literally made any combat a joke
um what are you talking about with the geth assault riffle, you can get that via research anytime after you recruit tali on any difficulty.

Should make a video about best starting weapons/best weapons you can get early in game

In real life a larger size typically results in reduced recoil.

CZ57 Avenger is not a variant of the standard railgun. It's a minigun variant. You guys made a mistake.
Uchigatana has never been OP
Crissaegrim, that is all.

God of War is not a RPG
Dying Light’s Crusader’s Remorse and Ruffian Sword. Play through some spooky nonsense and buy yourself some very powerful swords.
Heavy bowguns are better when hunting with friends. A melee weapon is better for solo hunting

I feel like someone needs the difference between "good" and "op" explained to them with some of these picks.
