  1. My wife and I will be going to Disneyland in December and it will be our last. We usually go to WDW, since I grew up in Florida and have a lot of memories there of my family and with my wife, but no more. The only reason we are going to Disneyland is because she has never been. If I go to any Disney Park it will be Tokyo Disneyland, just because Chapek and other executives can't eff it up. The magic is gone. Honest question for you, Do you think Chapek and other executives even listen to the fans? Do you think they will fire Chapek early due to all backlash? Thank you for what you and your crew do for us the fans. Have a great night.

  2. I just went in September. I had no issue with genie. But the lighting lane is a bit much, I used it twice and I really didn’t need to if I just waited for the evening.

  3. At some point let's just go old school with it. Screw it. Just remove the entry ticket price to Disney parks and strictly do a pay per ride system the way places like Knoebels do it. Enter the park for free, only pay for whatever you spontaneously want to do. That way if you pay to ride 10 rides, at least you know that you are, like, actually getting to ride those 10 specific rides. Btw I know this would never, ever happen. Lol.

  4. It always was doable actually last year when there was no lighting or fast pass the lines looked long but moved faster. Thunder mt, was out to the pecks bill area with a cast member holding the line starts here sign she told us it looks long but the lines move faster. From there we were 17 minutes to get on the ride.

  5. Disney is finally starting to understand the elasticity of the demand for its product. The fact is we are going in November and we will pay whatever they ask. In fact I hope they charge even more so there will be more availability of available times as others are priced out.

  6. We could afford to go multiple times over the next several years, but won't. Squeezing every dollar out of patrons may work on a economics chart, but it is a major disatisfier. I vote with my dollars, and they are losing a customer. Walt Disney would be ashamed.

  7. Because of all the negative changes, Disney has really lost most of its 'magic' for me. Any suggestions on how I can recapture some of it? (A good start would be to replace that idiot, Chapek!) But seriously, I'm saddened and disturbed that something I have long loved and admired is going down the tubes fast. HELP!

  8. Here is the thing THEY DO NOT WANT YOU TO GO! If you have to even ask how much or budget and save they really do not want you to come. They WANT it less crowded so the people who don't care about cost will have a better time. They want the people who think nothing of staying at the Disney luxury hotels, eat at the restaurant's, pay so their kids get to meet characters, buy buy buy all the stupid silly stuff and don't think twice about the cost , that is who they are catering too. They do not care for the average family to have a magical time magic is now reserved for those who can afford it. Trust me I have been there numerous times and it is no longer the wonderful place for a fun family trip. Kids will ask for stuff parents can't afford and everyone will be hot, hungry and frustrated.not worth it save your money and take a wonderful trip somewhere else

  9. We gave up going in 20, and don’t see returning to the parks until things change. Need to decide what to do with DVC, it’s still useful for Aulani, but provides little benefit when visiting the parks. Yearly visits since 95, DL Half legacy, but then they cancelled the runs.

  10. Sorry. I am furious and NOT paying over $150 for a one day pass… while locals are clogging up the parks to near capacity every day… for less than $20 per visit! Disney needs to do the math and double the prices of Magic Key passes immediately! Go figure? A local who buys an annual Magic Key for only $449, can go to the parks 3-4 times a month! 4 x12= 48. $449 divided by 48= $9.35! Yup, many locals are going to the Disney parks for less than $10 per visit because of their super low priced Magic Keys! But, Disney expects me to now pay over $150 for a one day pass… to stand in line for over an hour for almost every ride… because locals are abusing their Magic Keys and using the parks as cheap, weekly entertainment! Hahaha!!! Not happening! And, don't think for a minute locals haven't figured out that Disney doesn't really cross check IDs to Magic Keys. Of course they don't and the locals can easily "farm out" (rent) their Magic Keys to family and friends for more money! (While they hog up all the special holiday tickets to resell on eBay.)

  11. As a DVC owner I worry that these constant pricing attacks are going to destroy the value of my contracts. This is more than just a one time hit to the budget, this is a constant eroding of a $50k investment.

  12. While food prices always go up at Amusement parks you can definitely attribute much of the current price increases to inflation. That's not to say Disney wouldn't be raising prices on food if inflation were at %0 but that because of how bad inflation is it's not surprising to see them raising their own prices on food & beverage.

  13. I feel Chapek is pricing to make up for the crashing stock….which is crashing because he sucked all of the value out of the parks and no one has any faith in him and his bucket of bad decisions.

  14. Disney like the NFL, MLB, are no longer afamily oriented organizations, you cannot afford to take your family and completely enjoy the parks in a reasonable weeks vacation, based on transportation to and from, motels, food, etc. as our economy tanks, and the corporations continue to raise prices beyond the average American Family’s ability to afford. It’s truly a shame as this is totally counter to Walt Disney’s dream about the concept of the parks

  15. Universals Express Pass system and NOT having to reserve a park is much superior to Disney’s system. Arrive when you want. Leave when you want. Sleep in if you want. It’s a much less rigid and structured vacation. Disney is losing me and my family.

  16. I went to Disneyland/DCA in march of 2022. I live in so cal so I got the so cal spring special price. My wife and I spend 2 days at Disneyland and one day at DCA. We did not buy genie + or any lightning lanes. We got to go on every single attraction we wanted to. With the exception of Radiator Springs Racers. We were in line for the attraction when we were 10ish minutes from the ride when it caught fire and was shut down, this happened about an hour before closing. Everyone had to be manually evacuated from the ride. Had this not happened we would have gotten on all the rides. The ride was then closed for two weeks straight after that. So if you plan for it, you can do anything you want without the upcharge.

  17. I stopped sucking the Disney teet in March and have been so happy about it. It was an abusive relationship loving a company that never loved me back. All they did was dissapoint me, create anti-consumer policies and cash grabs to please the shareholders and executives. No more. Was a lifelong fan and now I have removed every item from my house, cancelled Disney+ and will never give them another cent. I won’t miss them and they won’t miss me.👋🏻

  18. I’ll be surprised if they still give a free cup of water after a hot day of walking around.. i remember when i went with my band. We were told that you could go to different stands and ask for a cup or two of water since it was so hot

  19. Just booked our trip and it seems this will be our last trip. I just can't afford it any more. We save to go and it doesn't make sense to save for a few years and only be able to ride a few rides when we go. I'm having a hard time getting excited for this next trip unfortunately.
