Kings Island is adding 2 new rides in 2023, to go along with a re-theme of their Octoberfest area of the park! Not only will we see 2 new rides open, we will also see two new dining options added to the park!
This is huge for Kings Island, because the park desperately lacks in the flat ride department, so kudos to Cedar Fair and Kings Island.

I'm looking forward to this. Octoberfest is nice but it really needs more in that area so this re-theme is a nice improvement with two much needed flat rides. I am very curious about what is being added to Adventure Express. That's a big mystery.

Cedar Fair should also get Canada’s Wonderland an endeavour, replacing their Orbiter attraction removed a few years ago.
I love Adventureport and I agree with tou on Adventure Express. I feel its the greatest Arrow Mine ever!
In my opinion I think Kings island Carowinds, and Cedar point did a great job with their upcoming new areas/attractions.

I wish they weren't cramming it in that tiny spot. Oktoberfest and Action Zone were both weak themes, I always thought they would make it all one area one day. Hopefully they continue to re-theme and Adventure Port will absorb Action Zone.
Skylab and the old spinning kegs were my two all time favorite flats, I miss them almost as much as Vortex so I am thrilled they are coming back!

Cedar fair does it right. Read the history of kings island book and it shows their dedication to quality and tradition

Kind of surprised this wasn't done earlier (apart from slingshot being there) wasn't really themed more of a theme if anything
I feel like there's a good opportunity to relocate Congo Falls in 2024 once the new area is done. Transform it from a standard drop to an adventure themed ride. Increase its popularity.

Man. What’s going on in the Vortex plot? New theming Adventure Port is nice. And wonderful coaster additions in recent years. Too many B & M. KI is my home park. Dying to see any kind of Intamin steel in the Vortex plot!

That Octoberfest area has always felt a little incoherent. The only actual German thing there is Festhaus, which IS probably the best food place in the park and it looks great. But then the other attractions, Adventure Express and Viking Fury, have absolutely nothing to do with Germany. A refresh is definitely in order

I think it is a great idea as that area is pretty dead as it is. Also, Carrowinds does still have their Schwarzkopf Enterprise ride so they really wouldn’t need a Zamperla Endeavor ride.

Not related to this video but top thrill dragster track is being shipped to Genoa Italy which is about 5 hours south of where intamin is so it means that there's a really good chance they are working on this ride

So I’m a KI local and I must say it’s sad to hear that they’re moving away from the October fest themeing I understand why as it’s not really fitting with the new theming of rides, either way I really hope KI is making more moves than this the park is in need of more rides

Brandon, I love your channel and follow you all the time. Great stuff but you can’t say adventure express is a great coaster. 😜 I know it’s a family coaster but I don’t know one person who enjoys that jerky machine. Other than that keep you the good work! I was hoping for something to fill the Vortx area. Multi-launch, or RMC. 🤷🏼♂️
This is going to be niccceeee. Kings island is seriously one of the best parks out there especially when it comes to looks so this is going to look amazing. KI is my home park I've been going there since I was a kid. I remember riding son of beast almost every weekend right before it closed down. I just can't wait for the coaster that replaces vortex. Better be a mack spinner….
Honestly if you legitimately liked adventure express more than Orion that would be fair, at least it gives more than 20 seconds of ride time..
Maybe Cedar point will add a Zamperla where Matterhorn is??
So KI is essentially bringing back Der Spinning Keggers and Skylab. What's old is new again for 2023. Not complaining as the park does need more flat rides.
In my opinion
I have ridden the zamperila endeavor and SF over Georgia and I think they are slow forceless rides.
While I’m glad they’re getting these, it was needed. I’m surprised they went with a ride that you can get down at KK. There are rides in Zamperlas catalog they could’ve gotten that would have stood out from KK, HW, IB, and CP. An air race, the nebulaz, energy storm.
Or get something more wild like what CW got. Something from gerstlauer or Mondial.
They're following off of the success of jungle xpedition at KD as they really revitalized that section of the park with that expansion.
