Libya is Africa’s last great unknown. A vast desert country veiled from the West by fear, prejudice and misunderstanding. Once it was home to the richest cities in Africa. The headquarters for the African empires of Rome & Greece. Now it is reviled as “a desert with a dictator in it”. David Adams follows in the wheel tracks of Ancient Rome’s “chariots of fire” – the first wheeled vehicles to explore the Sahara – and discovers a little-known land of exotic brilliance, ancient cities & forbidding deserts.

@davidadams you are the best photo journalist in the world!! You are my favorite 📸 photographer ever!! You capture my heart ❤️ in every one of your journeys! Astonishing and magnificent civilizations!! I thank you for your visions of the simplicity that we all should learn from.
the sexual tension between these two is just too unbarable to watch. I just wish she would suck him off and he'd hit it multiple times per day (off camera) … (or on) TO RELEASE THIS BUILT OF TENSION… this is unwatchable. they flirt the ENTIRE TIME. Yank her hair already..
It is so fucking nauseating to see "historians" constantly take the low road in an attempt to re write history for future people to see by referring to everything that can be perceived to be good as "progressive or modern" and all good modern things being "progressive". And in turn all bad or backwards things are "conservative". Such as the Muslim traditions that oppress women yet its what you would refer to as "conservatives" that are the only ones standing up to these things and trying to prevent them in the west!!! In fact progressives hate Americas founding fathers but if it weren't for them America wouldn't be the way it was for 150 or so years and thus the rest of the western governments wouldn't have slowly followed suit and the west wouldn't be near as democratic as it is today. So if not for "conservatives" whom desire freedom and liberty and independence SIGNIFICANTLY more than progressives more of the world would be more like how you described the coffee house in this video.

The beauty through your lens, is just unbelievable! I am in awe of your capabilities to bring life from nothingness. A stark reality of existence-between man and sand.

Excellent work David. I was particulary pleased by the beautiful occasional background musics which are real composition not some pop jingle with 3 chords, very well edited. Your work of course is more than just photography, you're an explorer, ambassador, adventurer, diplomat and artist. I particularly like to watch your diplomacy communicating with the people of the local culture without falling into stereotypes of tourist or colonialist or hegemonic anglo saxon traveller (which is actually more a reality than a stereotype for united statians and english speaking travellers generally). You have a good touch with people, although on the sober and cold side but probably justifiably cautious in this muslim environment especially with that gorgeous Lybian guide woman. I have no clue what went through her head and what her expectations were for this journey, maybe she is just a pawn, and you were very careful. The cameraman does an excellent job.
What a wonderful piece of work.
Old documentary.
And Kadafi was murdered for trying break away from the petrodollar. The globalists elites couldn't have that.
Well this old Kadhaffi has been gone since what 2011? Libya has been chaos ever since, run by three? different warlords
