I think we need to remember that these people are military, so it is not surprising they view it as a potential threat. The key is POTENTIAL threat. I keep coming back to the fact that they could wipe us out in a second if they wanted to. They don't. They could have detonated the nuclear weapons, but they didn't. They turned them off. I think it's a possibility that if it is from an alien source that they are checking our nuclear weapons to see if we can destroy the planet which in turn affect the rest of the universe. They shut down nuclear missiles in the past at facilities that doesn't have to be a threat but maybe a sign to let us know this is not the way to proceed and to basically knock it off. Every time there is a technology breakthrough the first things the governments scramble to do is to see how we can turn this into a bigger better weapon instead of looking to see how it could possibly benefit mankind as a whole to create better living conditions for all not some select group.

If a Alien can travel to another solar system or galaxy then they are obviously much much smarter than we are already. If they can make it to another galaxy then they most likely have some sort of rapid travel like being able to instantly teleport to earth on demand.

A few years before the Arizona mass sighting there was a mass sighting in orange count CA . I was 7 years old when me and 15 other kids from the neighborhood we’re playing hide and go seek. Right when we where about to start the game a kid said what’s that as he pointed to the sky. We all looked up and saw a huge and I mean huge saucer craft above us sand it was going real slow. The saucer made a whom whom whom sound and u can feel a electrical feeling down your body. This thing was about 79 stories high and u can see everything and it had lil small windows all around it. The next day we kids were talking about what we saw and then a guy in a black suit walks up to us and asked if we saw something strange last night. We all were telling him everything that happened and he wrote it all down. When he when he finished he told us not to worry about it because what we saw was a weather balloon. There have been sightings, photos, video, even physical evidence for a long long time. I find it a bit silly to suddenly get excited about the government being willing (to a small degree) to admit there are in fact UFO's. So everyone that reported all these years past did not count?
