  1. Oooh Glass Gem Corn is so beautiful, canโ€™t wait to see them. Corn and Beans – two of the three sisters, squash being the third plant grown by Indigenous people here. Your garden is looking beautiful ๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

  2. Hello Sis, I am planting corn in a 3×3 lawnmower cardboard box which I painted with non-toxic soy paint for yard aesthetics lol. I am so glad I caught this video because I was concerned that I may have planted them too close together. Your garden is so Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

  5. Hello!๐Ÿ– Enjoyed this great content on growing corn and thanks for sharing your tips!๐Ÿ‘ Last time I grew corn only; they were small, not plump, plus I did not plant enough! Dropping more corn seeds of early golden bantam today and then I will add kentucky wonder beans in between as you did! New sub; zone 5b/6a! Blessings to you and family!โ™ฅ๏ธ ๐Ÿฆ‹6/7/2022๐Ÿฆ‹

  6. The disrespect ๐Ÿ˜ค…dang birds ๐Ÿฆ! Oh yeah, corn definitely loves their nitrogen. I haven't always planted beans with my corn. It didn't seem to "need" it as much in some other areas that we've lived, as it does here in NC. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ I actually prefer to grow bush beans with my corn, but I have done pole beans and I'm doing pole beans this year. But, I'm always good for throwing impromptu green bean seeds in the ground. Especially right before a big rain.
Once in MD, I planted 2 varieties of corn right next to each other, and I sowed them at at the same time (double wammy) ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ. It made the most bizarre starchy mushy textured corn. Not good eats at all! Now, I'm gun shy about planting multiple varieties at the same time. The staggered sowing method is a great one to maximize the harvests for sure. My kids don't really like corn, so it's mainly for me and hubby.
Oh, that seed count wasn't very good at all! Hopefully, they'll do better. We always have such different varieties in our garden. I love seeing which varieties you pick. To me that's a big part of the fun of watching others garden. ๐Ÿ’š
